This is THE WORST description of ObsCure: The Aftermath ever.
ObsCure: The Aftermath is the sequel to.. ObsCure ( or Mortifilia, as it's known overseas. ) In the first game, a student goes missing after staying late at school & his four friends go looking for him the following evening. However, they discover monsters are lurking about the school at night & get trapped inside, and basically have to fight their way out.
Spoilers (highlight): They eventually discover that the monsters are actually transformed students, who had been kidnapped & used for experiments with a plant called mortifilia, that supposedly held the key to eternal life. It was the principal and his twin brother performing the experiments, and they had been doing so since the early 1900's. In the end, both men end up dead- the current principal shot by a deranged teacher & the other mutated and eventually exposed to sunlight, which is fatal for anyone infected with mortifilia. All five students escape.
In ObsCure: The Aftermath, a new plant has shown up on the campus of Fallcreek University that students are taking as a drug. Then one night, the majority of the students are suddenly transformed into monsters, leaving only a handful of 'normal' students to fend them off. Eight teenagers are left to escape from the college but they end up getting more deeply involved with what's caused the mutations & they eventually discover the 'root' of the problem ( HAHA SEE WHAT I DID THERE. )
It's got a terrible story & awful two player controls and is generally a laughable game. It's available on the PS2, Wii, PC & was just released on the PSP. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you're able to .. not take the game seriously.
it does look quite funny and silly and i don't really understand what going
till you finally told me and the story sounds very plain and boring...
i mean what is so fun? seeing young adult teenagers? getting high?
then they turn to monsters?, i kinda understand the whole plot of this game now,
well, like you said if you dont like talking things seriously, then this game is for you...
But i take things some games seriously like "Silent Hill Series",
but if this game is not taken seriously, ill pretty much dislike it.
