It seems to have gotten a good score on a lot of reviews. Unfortunately I don't have a next Gen System so I can't play the game. I have a friend who is playing it though, and hopefully he'll bring it over after he beats it. He seems to be stuck at a place where you're..

SPOILER
fighting a boss on a Roof, and it only takes one shot from the boss to knock you off and kill you.
END SPOILER

I also heard there's some RPG level function for the night form. It seems interesting at least.
Are shadow and knuckles in the game because I looked at some cutscenes and they weren't there. I thought sega confirmed they would be in there.
I'm one of the first to post on the thread Yeah! blaugh
The level designs for the daytime areas look really interesting.. Is the motion smooth from one area to the next? In the trailer all we get to see is really long (and preset looking) courses that sonic is running along. Does it have the feel of a truly 3D game (like sonic adventure), or is it more like a sidescroller in a 3D environment?

Well, remember back in the 2D sonic games where you could just run really fast, and sometimes randomly make it through a stage without really trying? Does this game have a fluidity to it like the older ones? And I figured from the commercials that the night stages were in full 3D.
Sonic Unleashed was shittier than s**t on s**t, covered in s**t, topped with s**t, and s**t on the side.
That game was the worst fifty dollars I have ever spent.
Awww. Lookit all the smilies and sunshine coming off of that post.. whee
I have the Wii version, due a lack of other Next Gen consoles. My friend'll be getting the PS3 version when it comes out in a few weeks.

The Wii version seems to be missing some features, to make room for Action Stage gameplay.

Well, the day stages have it like that... fast @_@ kinda xP to me, it's fast enough :0
I hear that the 360 and ps3 versions have more stages in it.
I'm a decent way through it. Only 2 areas left.

Here's how I see it:

Sonic Adventure daytime stages with 10 times more speed, mixed in with a dumbed down version of God of War for the night time stages, mix in some Fatal Frame and you got Sonic Unleashed.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game, just seems Sonic Team really loved God of War and even went as fat as copying Kratos's rage meter into Sonic unleashed meter, and the fact you have to button mash on some doors to pry them open or even fill your meter by smashing pots is pushing it.
