Sonic the Fighters didn't have a manual. What arcade game does? <.<

Maybe you should try the Game Gear games. The Sonic and Tails games and Triple Trouble are probably your best bets.

That sounds like a definite no. A good snaker (which is easy to become in this game) should pull off about three "after taking a turn" boosts every two seconds throughout the entire race. You'll never notice the board's ordinarilly weak stats if you do nothing but slide-boost.

I'll admit, using pit stops for the Fastest might make it a lot better, though. They're just annoyances when you use most other gears, so I turned them off a long time ago.

It's still quite easy to notice the low stats, sure it's faster, then the computers once again, but still slow for something that's dashing constantly. Taking into consideration that your zig-zagging everywhere, and it's just good in the way that the Hovercraft is good.

Not sure how you can really be annoyed by the pits, since you just press the a button to immediately exit them.

still, I still have the impression that almost every gear has the potential for greatness when used right.

I got past 100 hours on Sonic Riders last week. Would have been 200 but I didn't have my Cube for like 5 months last year.

You know, after watching a few people play the game for the first time, I know why most people have a hard time with it. I now understand why some people think its a terrible game.

See this is exactly what I said about that damn mythic hair. Then again Quillz, that's also what I hate about the DBZ series, it's sexist, cuz Pan can't go super, just cuz Akira Toriyama didn't think it was right.


Also about the Riders thing, I understand to, with how people have trouble initially, but that just makes me wonder how Melee became popular, because, starting up, that game is very difficult, and a tad frustrating.
