@freedman- the MP5 is still a very good weapon, and is the weapon of choice for the Navy SEALs, it too can be silenced, and its small lightweight body makes it excellent for a CQC fighter such as snake.

Screw the mp5... 9mm is s**t... It shoots like the mp40 on full auto... It's easy to jam... You can break it by dropping it out of your car... The mp5 is for cops... That's why I liked how they used the p90 and never.. well, not much else. At least the p90 can pierce body armor and has a big enough clip size for shooting full auto with the accuracy of a submachine gun. Other than that, submachine guns are s**t; if it's small size you need, get a small rifle like a CAR-15 which can be suppressed.

I would cry if I saw Snake holding an mp5...

I'm sorry, but have you fired one before? And I don't remember the P-90 having AP rounds.

The Fabrique Nationale P90 was made to counteract the constant use of kevlar by enemy soldiers. It's armor piercing. And the FN Five-seveN pistol uses the same rounds, and I try to reference that pistol in every single chance of Fabrique Nationale talk I can get into. 5.7x28mm SS190, I believe. Good accuracy and lethality to 200-225 meters!
