Honestly. Is a new protagonist so bad? Lucia had the better part of DMC 2's plot, and no one complained about playing as her. I hope. stare

Not to mention, as a good portion of us have stated before, that it has been hinted that Dante will be a playable character as well. Maybe certain parts of the game are Nero, and the other parts are Dante? Or maybe you'll even be able to choose? Wouldn't that be cool, for the game to have a different outcome because you're playing as a different character?

Come on, don't critisize Nero just yet. Didn't a whole lot of people feel like a bunch of jackasses when Kingdom Hearts came out and it ended up being awesome? "Eww, a Disney/Final Fantasy crossover! It's gonna suck!" Yeah, don't spew that same crap now about a game before it even comes out!

Nero is going to be awsome. Fanboys/ girls need to stop complaining because dante isnt the main character.You can probably play as him so stop whining. But where's Vergil? I read that he wont be in the game. Plus, nero's sword is kick. ninja

Actually, in the GI article of DMC4, Kobayashi stated that Vergil still has a role in the game that's unknown at the moment. If you want to know more than go back to the first page and look at the second post. 3nodding

Never said I like him or not. I just won't really consider anything about him until I play as him. Therefore, he is on fence for me.

Depending on how much Dante is in it, I will either love or hate the game. If they can incorporate Virgil into the storyline then I'll love it no matter what... Even though Virgil supposedly died in 1, the creators are hinting at him being a character in the game, or at least that is what my gameinformer said..

I like the fresh start of a new character well it shows another perspective of Dante and this can only better his coolness as nero is like the rookie and dante is much cooler more experienced.

All I know is that in the entrance dante kills the leader of the order and that what makes nero give chase yet dont forget dante was asking for something and nero didnt want to give it over could of been his devil arm or whatever but I think it was the amulet but then again this is just stupid speculation.

Also is just me or did the title song rawk
