Yeah they do look pretty nice don't they^^ Cost a lot of Kinah too>.<

Anyway really really getting into fighting in the Abyss now. A couple of nights ago when I just teleported there after doing the odd quest in Morheim I got wind of that there was a massive fight going on just outside the base. And boy was it a big fight alright. Must of been about 40 Elyos against about roughly 30 Asmos when I got there. The Elyos must of been really high levels as they kept repelling our attacks. But of course as we where so near to the base we kept getting a steady influx of reinforcements and that Elyos force eventually got slaughtered^^ Couple that with helping an alliance capture an artifact and it was a good night overall^^

Agreed! I can't wait for it either! I also noticed that we don't flail our arms and legs like idiots when we fall! LOL!

I hear that the new graphics will be an optional thing that you can turn on and off, so I'm not sure if it will require a much better PC than what most players already have. Either way, I'm not too worried, because I plan on getting a new computer specifically designed for gaming around Christmas time.

I really hope that they will add all those features in.. as I feel it'd give us a lot more to do.. and keep people more interested.

It will definitely be an improvement for Aion in my opinion. There are people having their doubts about what NCSoft is capable of though, and a lot of players think that their "vision" is nothing but a dream. I'm keeping my hopes up though!

I can't wait for the updates! I hear it's going to be released in a series of patches rather than all at once, but I'm not sure if that's true. I think the updates look pretty damn amazing though, and I can't wait for mounts! *squee*

I think they released this at a really good time as well. A lot of people might have been unsubbing or leaving for whatever reason (I know a lot who were leaving because of bots/kinah-sellers) but I hope that people stick around now. I have no intentions of leaving any time soon, and hopefully I can keep dragging my boyfriend in. XD

I have a friend who I used to play Guild Wars with up til a short while before Aion came.. She keeps whining how the game is too much like WoW.. and when I told her about the video she was like "They're making it even MORE like WoW!"
Which I really don't agree with. :<
Loads of MMOs have similar elements.

Aion has some really similar elements to WoW. I played WoW when it was in closed beta, then for about a year after that (not sure exactly) and got very bored. Still, there were some elements in WoW that I kept looking for in other MMOs I tried, and Aion pretty much fulfills all of those for me, but I find it more engaging and prettier, which is why I think I like it so much more. There's no doubt it's got a lot of similarities, but it's definitely not the same.

In my opinion, the Aion Vision Trailer is deviating it from WoW more, with the nicer graphics, the newer zones, the more detailed and complex skillchains etc. Mounts don't make a game like WoW; other games had them before that. A lot of people will compare two admittedly similar games, but make it out that because WoW was the big attraction immediately anything they did, even if someone else did it first, was their idea, which I guess I just disagree with on a fundamental level.

I think they're both great games in their own right. WoW was fun while it lasted but it's just not for me. Each to their own, I guess!

I really can't wait to have my own house. It's something I loved about FFXI (even if my house was crap...) heart

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could level my 19 Asmodian SIN up to level 20? Ive been 19 for a while now and Ive completed all the Altgard quests as well as the campaign ones. Theres nothing really here for me to do as I finished early 19 Ive grinded my way up to the halfway mark but if anyone has any suggestions as to where I might find some quests or a good spot to grind may be let me know.

I just got the game tonight so I havent played since the Headstart ended right after the Open Beta its sad to see that most people on y friends list removed me crying
