Im sure its been said before, and I may get flamed, but I Think master cheif is a real lame name, using master can cheif, two random commanding names, in a guy thats part of an army (of sorts) is uninspiring, overzelious and dumb.

To "go commando" is to wear clothing on the legs without any undergarments. If one were to wear shorts, but not have anything under them, then he/she would be "going commando."

I think that you used "overzealous" in the wrong context. But I agree, Master Chief is not very well used. However, people call him that mainly because they do not know his real name.
