Yes but haven't you noticed that it's controlled? Who controls it? Who knows. How do they do it? They control what we watch, what we read, hence what we perceive. Information management.
I have no idea. I'm pretty sure no one in Australia/NZ is watching what im reading dude..... Thats like US Crackpot theory styles.

No, i havent touched the pole.

It is so hard to find good solid conspiracies now and days.

Orly? Ok, XD Sorry bout that.
Even more so when your not actually looking for them.

I know. So George Bush could have possibly rigged this whole ordeal that we are in now, but there is a conspiracy even deeper than that, and yet at the same time very vague. For instance, why is it that all these people we have never seen or heard of are all of a sudden in the poles and all have, basically, the same life style? Wouldn't it make more sense for the American government, originally based on the concept of "By the people From the people For the people", to have some one who is not rich and has actually seen the dirt and shine of the country be president? You know, some one who actually walked from the poverty masses into presidency rather than some one who is rich and has some power skip into presidency?
Well whoever you guys get next year will be interesting. I'm hoping for the lady/black guy.

NEW AND EXCITING

The lady is Hilary Clinton and I hope she wins. She's a nice person. XD She actually stated that people voted Bush in because they would have a beer with him and thats wrong. I agree with her.

Its not suppose to be some one you would have a beer with, its suppose to be someone you have had a beer with. That you remember seeing on the other side of the bar with very little friends and they were NOT in business suits.

If only it was a black woman running for president, we could kill two birds with one stone and get it over with. I'm so tired of the questions on the news, "So, do you really think a woman could be a good president?" or "Is our country really ready for a black president?"

The country IS ready. the people... not so much. XD I wonder how pissed Hilary will get when dirt Rednecks post "naked" pictures of her on the internet. Assuming they haven't already.

Oh and before I go, I'd suggest this be a sticky for as long as violent games are needlessly and singularly targeted as offensive and inappropriate media. it's good conversations.

A few things people, really.
First of all, your political views: Obama (is not really black) has said nothing different than Hillary (pulled Bill Clinton's strings, effectivley president already). The only differece is that one is a male and the other is female. Neither really cares about video games, regardless of what they say. That being said, to the more pressing issue....
Now, the important thing to remember is that video games are, in fact games. Pretend simulations of real life. As a famous red-haired (not gay) character would say, "P-R-E-T-E-N-D, got it memorised?" People who play video games for periods of time morph into one of two sub-species of human.
1. Couch potato-growing fat, pale, and pasty.
2. Toothpick-somehow becoming extremly thin with arms unable to even lift 5#.
Of course, there are the rare types who play sports games in real life and pretend, made more common by the failure franchise called "Guitar Hero".
Point being, no gamer, except those who can turn the power off, is actually physically capable of a violent act because of either too much body fat to throw a punch, or not enough body to actually hurt someone. What you must try and understan is simply that the news reports of violence caused by gaming is a falsification. In truth, the crime was random and either caused by Satan or the stupid kid. Or the stupid kid's stupid friends. Violence caused by actual gamers is as real as Feuer-el's p***s. And I hope that he reads this, because it was a cheap shot, but totally worth it. And what you just witnessed was the full extent of video gamer violence.
To close, even if they are banned people will still be able to buy the games regardless.
I did read that, and it was uncalled for.
That's one for you, but you could leave these others out of it.
No

Irresponsible parents and right wing hawks with rods up there asses need to sit down, shut up and do their jobs right.
I belive I stated this in an earlier thread but no, I dont think they should because

a. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

b. There is a rating system for a reason...follow it

I worked at a gamestop where an angry parent got GTA banned from our stores because she wouldn't listen to me or anyone else on the issue of the game being rated M
yes like neo slith II stated, the ESRB, is to make sure that lil kids arent playing games that are too violent for them. it also restricts them from buying T-for teen or M-mature rated games. Although im 18 yrs old, i can buy any game i want. I hated it when i went to gamestop to buy a copy of UNREAL II:THE AWAKENING, it was rated M-for mature, and at this time i was 16, so the clerk wouldnt let buy it with out, adult permission, but i didnt get mad, i just said "o.k." and left the store. well at any rate, violent games should not be banned, thats what the ESRB is for....as explained above.

Seconded.

I hate it when you hear about 12 year olds who got upset because they played Manhunt and it gave them nightmares. After all, it's an 18 FOR A REASON.
No.

Violent games are games none-the-less. They are an artform of the developer and though it may not fit the conforms of society, that's why they put that little "M" or "A" in the bottom corner of the game's box. So if you don't like violent games, then you don't have to play them. Now, some games that do appear might have to be banned, or at least put to where you have to special order it so that it won't appear in stores. But we must remember, real life is violent too and some violent games represent real life in a more realistic outlook.
