Referral links: not allowed anywhere on Gaia (free points)

Recently we've had a large influx of MyBrute referral linking.

Let us be very clear here. Referral links are not allowed. Any link that a website gives its members that rewards that person when others click on the link is a referral link.

If you create threads for this, your thread will be removed. If you make posts with these links in other threads, your posts will be removed. In both cases, you will be warned. If you are warned more than once, your account will be banned.

In addition, we would like to remind everyone that rewarding referrals with gold is a violation of section seven of the terms of service.

Anyone caught trading Gaia's gold or items for off-site services will be banned. Permanently. Both the person offering the reward and the people that take the reward.

In addition: links from any website that claims to give you free Microsoft points, free games, free consoles, and so on in return for advertising for them are considered referral links. All posts of this nature will continue to be removed, and all users posting them will continue to be issued a warning for this behaviour (which will escalate into a ban if the behaviour continues).
