Oh dear sad
If you get an error report number at any point then it would be worth reporting it to Sony, alternatively google the number and it may give you a solution.
In the mean time, clean out your machine and make sure there's no dust trapped in the vents. Ensure it's well ventilated while you're using it to minimise the chance of it overheating.
But unless you're seeing any adverse effects of the crash then try not to worry too much. Sony do provide a repair service should you need to use it in the future smile
Didn't get any error reports I think...

My PS3 is on a well-ventilated place and I'm removing dust form it's outside twice a week (there's barely any dust though)... The weather has bin kinda hot here lately but my PS3 doesn't really seem to mind... My little superslim always keeps it's cool...

But thanks... Guess it really are just little hiccups... There are no side-effects whatsoever... PS3 always works perfectly again right after rebooting... It also endures many hours of constant gameplay (bin at it for 9 hours straight yesterday)... I'm glad now that there's no need to be worried about it...

Sending it to Sony, huh... I really don't hope it'll ever come to that... I don't really trust the mail here... And being PS3-less while I still have so much to play would be a pain... PS3's aren't exactly cheap so I really wouldn't want it to get lost somehow... I'd rather keep a machine with some minor malfunctions then going through all that... As long as it's not something major that makes it unusable that is...
