Well Bethesda did win the case involving the Fallout MMO so depending on how ownership of assets went with that case they could have had a back bone to work with from there.

However given that Elder Scrolls has generally bored me in recent iterations... I do not think it is an MMO I would have any real interest in.

Agreed it would be shitty. Also that's the only site I've seen mentioning this. I'm thinking their "anonymous insider" is just the writer trying to get some hits.

I'd rather have an online Co-Op for Skyrim than have an Elder Scrolls MMO.

Did you not hear about the mods for ES4/5 to make multiplayer connections? Of course something like this would happen.

But who cares? The game sucks regardless, online or not.
