This is going to be an expensive upgrading...worth it, but expensive in the end.

My computer is 4yrs old and has almost none of these, except DVD-ROM drive.

Internet connection...it should be 256kbs, but I'll have to go better since slight power surges knock it out.

Thank you.

good times.

Problem with that game, only fun with other people.

Problem with that game, nobody played it.

And now its down. Oh woe.

Except on the Xbox 360.

Mega Elder

Yeah, had such high expectations for it. And it turned out to be trash.

I did have fun playing with my friends on it though.

some places where more fun by yourself no worries of people taking rare items and beating bosses felt good. but your right it was better in a team or guild. though i have it on 360 i havent played it in about a year now.
All of my friends played it, and my wife and I are still playing it on Xbox 360

The problem was that it was hacked easily on both PC and 360.

And SEGA was super strict on banning account with anything hacked.

The party I played with every night slowly got banned 1 by 1. We bought weapons from a store, everything seemed in order for these rare weapons the guy had in his store even the prices were just high enough to avoid suspicion. We were wrong.

Our accounts were banned because we either bought hacked items or played with people who hacked the game.

Phantasy Star Universe wasn't a bad game, but it took forever to get the content Japan already had AT LAUNCH! Also the grinding system was annoying to make weapons and the partner machine was a bad replacement of MAGs and it could have been better.

I praise SEGA for going a different route, but I think they should've considered meseta drop rate more, weapon synthesis, and partner machines more.

But it seems that with PSO2 they've done just that! It's like Someone took PSO and PSU and gave us PS0 and then gave it a major overhaul to make us feel familiar again.
When Rath and I were playing PSO earlier, the game got stuck when we were fighting vol opt, and we couldn't get out of the room.

I've been meaning to do a GC split screen PSO weekend with some friends, but my brother lost all 3 GC memory cards my character on it.

GC cases had those slots, SPECIFICALLY for your memory card...he never used them. stare

I'm actually been meaning to go back and play PS0 on my DS and beat it finally.

Anyone else here play it?
Its such a shame that Phantasy Star Portable was a big reason why my joystick on my old psp was broken =(

Mega Elder

Because you played it so much..?
yep, I couldn't get enough of the demo when it came out, then after that I played it quite a bit. Its a shame I lost it in safeway somehow.
