Now I am really fearful of whatever they left out. ;o; Though if this is really their last game then they might probably give us a god worthy game. BUT seeing how much it took them to develop this game (which it was like nothing, unless they were doing it at the same time of WO1) they might just forget something...
*imagines an audio-less game* >>
An audio-less game is better than nothing, right? At least we could add our OWN soundtrack, right? XD
And yes, looking at the reviews, I'm thinking more along the lines that Famitsu had higher expectations than they did for WO. Of course, Koei has been hyping this game, so while it might be a good game, the hype might have been an issue here. Of course, looking at the scores, they're not THAT drastically different, are they? It's not like they're in the 4's and 5's, so I don't see what the big deal is about.
Despite my fears of what's been removed to compensate for everything that they're adding in (actual alternate costumes, new characters, verses mode and such), I hate to say this but the more and more I learn about WO2, the more and more I think how... utterly disappointing DW6 is. It... it simply makes no SENSE to me... please, SOMEONE EXPLAIN IT TO ME.
EDIT: HOLY JESUS, THIS IS A HILARIOUS THOUGHT.
So the alternative costumes are costumes from previous games... I'm suddenly imagining SW1 kitty suit Masamune, as an adult.
It will -never- happen, but I'll be damned if I can't sit back and enjoy the very THOUGHT of that. I wonder what they're doing to do w/ Masamune with that... considering he aged and all, and neither costume would fit him completely now. Damn those growth spurts.
