Well I do agree, I'm not going to close it or anything; just a bit de-moralising I guess. But if posts keep coming I'll keep adding stuff, that I've said from the start and will continue to do so. ^_^

And to HitoriklKun, I've seen some of the Famitsu scans for DW6; they look really amazing for most of the character overhauls.

Didn't the original official thread get moved because it became more of a hang out thread than anything else? Not really the point I suppose.

I'm kind of iffy about the changes in game play going on in WO. It seems as if the Musou attacks have become a lot less important.

Honestly, I don't even like Gundam (I prefer my giant mechs to be more along the lines of MechWarrior), but this one is quickly becoming my favorite DW version. It's right up there with Samurai Warriors 2 for me.

Nope, I don't plan to either; I'm not liking the DW name getting used for things other then its historical quality games. It's like FF spin-offs and that just makes me sick. stressed

Don't get me wrong, I love Mech games - but I'll stick to Armored Core to get that fix.

Orochi I don't mind as much; just please be a one off game KOEI! SW2: Xtreme & DW6 are the next ones in the series which I really want.

Gundam Musou isnt realeased here yet.. but man.. im gettin damn excited about DW6 ^^; more screenies the better.. anticipation ^^;

But yeah, any discussion on the games can take place here amoung other places, I'm always up for some DW/SW discussion.

I'm working on Oda Nobunaga's story in SW2 atm, I left his for a while because I preferred his character in Kessen 3...

I finally got my hands on a copy of SW:EL this weekend so now I have all the SW games that are currently out. The graphics kinda throw me cause I started with SW2, but it's not bad...what little I have gotten to play it that is.

I actually was introduced to the SW characters in a role play before I really got into the game. When I did finally get into the game...I fell in love with Mitsuhide-sama. That is actually where my name came from. Anytime I do a Japanese role play, I use Setsuna and that was the first time I had ever used that name.

Anyway...only about another week and a day till Orochi comes out where I live. *has been highly anticapating this game* I can't wait to be able to play with both eras in one game. I just hope they included a few battlefields from SW and DW.

Thanks, I could add more stuff to this over the weekend; providing it picks up activity which I'm unsure of due to a "similar thread" which is not the same and a not in this forum either. I just want an informative thread on the series to discuss about here, but alas I do what I can...

Yep, Orochi is not far away at all; I look forward to how they can possibly put the characters from both games together - and the 3 character team style it has. Should be a rather interesting game thats for sure.

KW noted that Warriors Orochi would be out on the 21st of September, do you think it'll be the same for New Zealand?

I noticed that KW said as such, but I believed the date was 28th for us PAL countries; nevertheless I'll get it whenever it arrives. ^_^

For the record, I personally voted SW in the poll; I just have a greater preference for its story; also being a massive Kessen III fan I guess thats no surprise. DW is still great, and Orochi is going to be great...tough choice but I'll still pick SW. (Can't wait for Xtreme 2, TOSHIIE!!!)

Also great to know we have a subcriber now too. smile

Furthermore, I'll add a related links section to this eventually as well; your Guild, KOEI official & KW will no doubt be part of them.

I can't choose between the two games! I guess it's because I'm too passionate to both sides of the coin. Aaah, DW lacks originality in weapons but has one fantastic storyline, as does Samurai Warriors, but ... more pretty Chinese boys in Dynasty Warriors!

My copy of the ROTK was badly translated and too simple for my liking, I'm trying to find Yoshikawa Eji's Taiko at Borders.
It's hard to believe that a paperback Musashi is $40 there...

I'm still debating if I should get it or not. I probably will just for the sake of completing my collection, but I'm still not 100% sure.
