yeah she is.. i like her move set ^^
Does anyone know the time order of story modes for WO? Chibi said awile ago that there's an order or something.
Yeah, Mitch had it right: BC= Backwards Compatibility (because I am super lazy and abbreviated it; sorry for the confusion). It simply means it can play PS2 and PS1 games... I heard that the more recent models are limited in that aspect; I know there was a list posted for the 80 GB of compatible games and what problems you might have while playing some.

@Fu- I don't remember posting that, but I recall what you're talking about. I think that whomever did post it said it went something like this...

SW-Wei-Wu-Shu (I think). SW and Wu's connects with one another pretty well; Nobunaga instructs Sakon to to go Wu, to help them out. Big mistake happens, Cao Pi chases down Sun Ce (and lets him go), and all the while, Shu is just lagging behind... I can't recall exactly how Shu's story fits in with the others, though.

However, I do know that after Sun Ce defeats Lu Xun's army, Gan Ning and Ling Tong remained together until the next Wu stage (where Xing Cai took them in and was commander), while Lu Xun got himself isolated, where Nobunaga saves him (Gaiden stage). After Sakon and Sun Ce defeat Xing Cai, Ling Tong and Gan Ning are separated, where Ling Tong runs into the SW army, while Ning ends up with Nagamasa and Oichi. Because Gan Ning gets caught up with those two lovebirds, as well as Cao Pi chasing down the 'traitorous' Sun Ce, that at least connects those three together in some kind of timeline.

I just can't figure out Shu's involvement; they were more stand-alone, I think. The only way I can connect them with the rest of the armies is Wu's first stage, where Ma Chao, Yue Ying, and Jiang Wei were together, but upon defeat, scattered about. Ma Chao rushed on his own and protected villagers (SW's Gaiden), Jiang Wei ends up in the Nanman area where he meets up with his own kingdom (Gaiden), and Yue Ying was inevitably captured (Shu's second stage... I think). I think Shu's army coincides with Wei's and Wu's story when they were forced to put their resistances down, though I'm not sure exactly how well SW and Shu's story mode coincide.

If Koei really wanted to, they could have done a lot more with that angle, but I think they were more focused on fan service, than anything epic.

Sorry for being absent, guys... I was trying to finish the last trial on Trials and Tribulations. Just in time, as DW6 should be arriving tomorrow!

Lu Bu ftw! xD
He's so damn freaking hot! whee

Is it his strength that makes him hot?

Zhen Ji is the new hottie in the game. <3

Don't meantion it Chibi, I've been a little absent from here myself, getting snowed under doing too much probably...
I do not like Zhen Ji's head... it's shaped... awkward. However, the rest of her is perfectly fine.
So...the new PS3 don't have BC? confused I really want to buy one for DW6 and i REALLY don't want to make the mistake of buying a crappy a** PS3 with nothing good in it. >_>

I am currently playing the Wei story with Gan Ning, Dian Wei and Zhen Ji. My story for that team: Zhen Ji, as the empress she is, took these two as her slaves/concubines.
Odd coupling, eh?

I think it was I that stated that there was an order and that i was trying to figure it out, but ChibiGingi already did. sweatdrop
My opinion is that it was SW, Shu, Wu and Wei given that in one Shu stages you have to fight against Zhang Liao and Xu Huang and later on against Diao Chan. All of them defect at some later point in the Wei story, thats why I put Shu second; I say that both Shu and Wu were at it around the same timeline and the delay of Sun Jian's recapture brought Shu a little upfront. Also Cao Pi's long and patient plan was to wait until every force went against Orochi, right? Thats why i put them last.
My theory for the order in which the forces defeated Orochi is: SW, Shu, Wu and Wei.

Anyone can correct me in this, I have been trying to figure out the timeline well to start a story of my own, so I'd appreciate the help.

It does have BC, it's just a little limited. If you go to the main site, they should have an entire list of games that are compatible and which ones might have a problem. Of course, I can't speak for the UK versions; only US. For complete BC, get the 60 GB... they might be hard to find, though.

Not really. WO is well known for 'odd couplings'...
Now this is the forum I belong in, save for the Orochi part. I have all achievements for the Musou games released on Xbox 360 and I plan on purchasing DW6 and SW2: Extreme Legends when they release. My favorite series is the Dynasty Warriors series, it boasts the most for choices. Although, I was greatly impressed by SW2: Empires. I still avidly play DW5: Empires and shall never bore of it. Also, DW: Gundam was outstanding and if KOEI does not produce a 2nd, or at very least an Empires game, then I shall rain fire and brimstone upon their doomed heads!
Ohhhh, thanks a lot, Chibi-san
60 GB PS3 HERE I COME!!!! blaugh

Yes, and in the next installation, they -better- have Duo Maxwell. Even if they can't get Scott McNiel to return to the English cast, it is what I am demanding at this point. Deathscythe wins, hands down.

Ok I'll go with that, well except for the Shu part since I just want to get them out of the way. So SW is next!

You'll have to leak to us everylast detail about DW6 after you play it. No one's saying how Fan Castle is (without Pang De).

i dunno Noh up there quite well
though i find it disturbing that Noh's 4th weapons can be hidden so well in that dress of hers ... much less move
Yeah, everyone who's played already are Shu fans (go figure), so Wu and Wei are going first in my book, seeing as they are, by far, the more interesting kingdoms in my eyes.

Here's the order of which I'm playing the characters once I get it, if anyone cares.

1.) Lu Xun
2.) Xiahou Dun
3.) Gan Ning
4.) Zhao Yun
5.) Sima Yi

... and the rest I'll play by ear. All I know is that the two at the top of the list are written in stone... they're so mine to play.
