On Lu Xun, hmm from reading your stuff maybe I should just change my plan of attack, I personally escort him to the base; and from there they all then attack. Maybe if I let him run there on his own and don't go back they won't try attack...then I can just take Cao Ren alone...which will be very easy with Mitsuhide!

And yes BLOODY HELL KOEI! DW6 is nearly out give us some damn info already, there must be so much they are holding back!

Edit: Wait Nagamasa and Oichi? I'm very curious to see how their whole I love you crap will change when Shibata comes into the game. I mean, Shibata loved Oichi too...

her weapon is still that stupid toy right? that really really was the only thing i hated about her well that and okuni lacking a umbrella katana ;-;

I used to love the Dynasty Warriors series, but the story has been the same legend passed down...blah blah, and they don't keep some of the features of previous ones in the newer games, such as character create in number 4.

But now that Koei is coming out with Bladestorm, I think I'm pretty much done with the Dynasty Warriors series. I'll probably still buy the sequels, but I'll be playing Bladestorm eeeeevery day.

I believe that historically speaking Nagamasa betrays Oda Nobunaga who gave Oichi to him as a sign of peace. She stays with Nagamasa until she is forced to leave and go back to her brother. She later marries Shibata after Nagamasa's death. So it depends on when they set the story. In Saumurai Warriors 2 they end both Oichi and Nagamasa's story with Nagamasa's death. So Nagamasa may not even be in the next Samurai Warriors.

i enjoyed the his opening cutscene in SW2 ^^

It was okay. I was pissed off to find out that most of his story mode was a dream.

@brokenwhiteabyss- Erm, Nagamasa lives in his own ending... unless I was seeing things. Maybe it was... A DREAM.

@Juichi- I honestly could care less about the Edit Officer feature. I mean, with so many playable characters, does it -need- Edit Officer? Empires, yes, that's a given I suppose, but I can live without it, especially if it's not that great.

However, I think Koei made games based around the Edit Officer function.. DWBB and something else... assuming they even come to America, though. Gr.

Since when does a character dying in their ending mean they're not going to be in the next game? It's not like there's a progression of story from game to game. Each game stands alone, plot-wise.

No, that was during Mitsuhide's story mode, not Nagamasa's ending. Don't worry, I get a lot of scenes mixed up too.

@Nokoru- I agree. If that was the case, Yuki wouldn't have been in SW2. LOL

Nagamasa's story pissed me off so much too. xd But at the same it made me excited, I didn't expect it so I went along with it. What really freaked me out is when he killed himself in MItsuhide's story mode in SW2. I think I actually gasped out loud. confused Such a weirdo, my god.

I would love Oichi's weapon to change for SW2:XL SHE IS TOO DAMN OLD FOR THAT s**t!! or at least she looks it. >_>

I only say that because if you noticed Samurai Warriors is trying to move toward the Tokagawa reign. I don't know if they will do that. But I'd like to think that was the whole purpose of making 88% of the game about post Oda reign.

Even though I loved Nagamasa, I did ruin the scene where he killed himself when my cousin was playing through.
