Only used my PSP once

I bought a PSP from someone almost 5 months ago because I felt like playing Final Fantasy Tactics. Back when I was super young I loved the game on PS1 but trying to get into it again in 2011 was just too hard for me. I was only able to play it for about 3 hours before putting it down and never picking up my PSP again.

Used PSP games are cheap I noticed. So far I only have 1 game and I feel like I wasted my money buying a handheld I haven't used in 5 months. I'd like to get back into playing before the PS Vita comes out

Can anyone recommend some "must have" games? I'm interested in:

-RPGs, especially ones with lots of armor, weapons and craftable stuff that shows on your character.
-Action games
-Fighting games with anime style and/or cute girls
-Online games if the PSP has them? (I have no friends who play PSP so playing online with strangers would be fun)

While I wait for replies I'm going to look on Gamespot and Gamestop.

Theres several rpg psp games to name a few that i have and have played quite a bit of.

The Persona Series 1-3
The Disgaea series.
Phantasy Star Portable
Star Ocean
Monster hunter Freedom: Unite
God Eater

The Monster Hunter series and God Eater feature quite a bit of online game play so if your looking for a game with armor weapons and rpg fun with an online functionality i would highly recommend it.

Dissida and Dissidia duodesem (not sure if I spelled that right) are fun

3rd Birthday is actually really fun but its the bosses are hard. I had to replay the first mission over and over til I was level 14 just to beat the first one, now I'm stuck on the unforgiving second one xD but its still fun.

3rd Birthday may sound exciting, but it is incredibly boring.

I recommend one of the Monster Hunters. And most of all Metal Gear Peace Walker. Those games pushed psp to its limits.

I myself haven't had much interest in my PSP in about a 1.5 years now, but that was all after playing about 20 games on it, all of which I still own. But since I"ve played them all and such they don't keep me hooked anymore. neutral

Honestly though to put down a console after playing a single game with a dose of 3 hours is, well, pretty sad.

Don't feel too awful. I have a lot of games, I'd probably really enjoy for my PSP if I ever played them - but the only game that ever sees the inside of that thing is ******** PANGYA GOLF.

I have a PSP, but the only games that I seem to have obsessively played on it are Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4. I like playing the DS a lot more than PSP to be honest.
