Maria often early in the game is the only way to win battles; her offense is better then everyone in the game. For Cliff, just have him use his Aerial Assaults & Hammer of Mights; thats best for him early in the game IMO.

I have to disagree with that one.
I rarely used Maria at all in the game. Only for a few battles.
But it's only a matter of choice.

But I would recommend getting Roger while inside the shrine.
The Vendeeni guns aim too high most of the time to hit him.

Actually, Maria is one of my favorite fighters, because her Aiming Device-Scatter Beam cancel combos are awesome. Not to mention, she has support spells early on that help out. When she gets Energy Beam in the post-game, I just spam it all the time. What fun~! xD

The Shrine of Kaddan is pure evil...I would too recommend Maria there since she can kill from afar...the other two characters are up to your choice.

Indeed, she sucks being the only character that cannot learn Increase MP damage and the slowest, but then again it's not that much of a big deal as you can make up for it. Using her offensive ability I beleive is a must to be successful in the game.

god is maria had the increase mp dm skill energy blast with literally crush
any mp deficient opponent in a matter of seconds not to mention it can stun them making he free kills

i really dont see the problem with her slow speed, shes usually the last person to die biggrin

I find Maria's attacks useless, they don't do much damage. Especially that pink and white prism thingy. Albel on the other hand pwns all. You need Albel in the shrine of kaddan. Shame he's unavailable.

for the shrine it for of honing the skill of avoidance than actually battling it out
which is what i did and all i really needed to fight was the 4 rooms,some enemies and the boss

Do you use cancel chains much?

Maria's stand alone damage is rather poor, it's her ability to chain attacks and bonus status effects they add which makes her powerful.

Yeah, thats kinda right; when they were getting attacked Cliff gave up hope. Maria remembered Jessie and was like "We will not give up, FIRE AGAIN" - and somehow her power saved them...so yeah she took over after that.

I'll give the point for it, the other 2 however remain.

i wanted nell to catch up first because she's behind and fayte and cliff level up easier then she does for some reason...>.>;

if i remember correctly there should be a path not leading to the temple but to a bonus dungeon that is absolutely ideal for you and it's right outside the fields if i remember correctly have you checked that whole area there should be a path leading to the extra dungeon if ya cant find it i'll try and find a map

are you talking about the quatic gardens right off irisa fields? you get into it by going down a broken staircase right? i think i've been in there before....

That aquatic gardens is rubbish and annoying...but then again, I always find it way far into the game, so the enemies are beaten easily.

I went to the Aquatic Gardens at about level 16... man, I GIMPED my way through that dungeon, let me tell you. crying
