Some of those scenes with Welch in Till the End of Time were priceless, like her playing with her hair not knowing the camera was on, or arguing with her superior, such an awesome addition to the game.

Oh the poll, I might have to put up a new one. I pick Nel & Peppita by choice, I believe those two offer the most, and it's advantageous to not pick Albel.

Thanks for the comment on the site, it's been around a while now, sometimes more active, sometimes not. But we are trying to get it up and running again. I just love Star Ocean, I can talk about it forever, here, there or anywhere really. razz

And I love the PSP ports, I'm playing First Departure at the moment, it's great to finally get to play that in a full English version. I have to wait for Second Evolution though since I'm in Australia and we generally have to wait longer for games. :/

I modded my PSP so I have both First Departure and Second Evolution.

Second Evolution is quite a disappointment with all it's translations, half of them completely unneeded... like Gyoro and Ururun are now Creepy and Weepy? ( Claude even says "Wow... That's dumb" I laughed. ), then Mars becomes Marze, Clik = Kurik. It's just silly!!!

So far I've heard mixed receptions to Second Evolution, but I guess that is to be expected considering how much the fanbase loved the original. Regardless of some sore points that have been pointed out I really want to see it for myself. It's been quite a long time between drinks, plus I want to see for myself how Welch fits into it.

Regardless of some sore points that have been pointed out I really want to see it for myself. It's been quite a long time between drinks, plus I want to see for myself how Welch fits into it.

When does it come out for you?

Honestly, it's an Okay port. The new voices and art are a lot better. I like how Rena actually looks like an innocent young girl rather than a tomboy with a pointless sword as a prop, Precis doesn't sound like a 12 year old girl high on helium. I like it a lot. But scenes also tend to drag on from the voices.

13th of Feb I've been informed, I guess we've waited longer for games though so I can't complain too much. :/

Albel's hair? Oh that image I used is one of his alternate costumes, I couldn't find a decent render of him when I made that way back so used it instead.
