He's only cool when you kick his a** is Urssa Lava Caves for BoPs and alot of money. In a team, he sucks at close range unless you use the hit and run tactic with Aura Wall.

As for going through Disc 2 without saving, it could not be hard since you can make it to atleast LV36-40 on one character like Fayt, rush until you make it to Gemity, grind on the Twin Beast battle in Ranking Battles and finally rape the rest of the game. Then again, AAAs can screw me over if I'm in a serious rush..

I've been known to say that many times myself.

The disk 2 challange, actual difficultly might not be that bad; but in terms of having the time to put into a long stretch and going against typical saving habits I think would make it quite hard. One wrong move and hours of work could go up in flames...that would be very frustrating!

I just got Fayt to level 51 by grinding solo on the brown Porcupines. Ironically it did not even take that long since they give out around 4.5k EXP at max on the bonus gauge. Yeah, my motive is to destroy the difficulty on Disc 2. All I need is to grind one more player, work on game breaking setups and finally run through Disc 2 like it's nothing.

Although very good idea with to level up on those Porcupines, they too were my mass level enemy on Disk 1 - particularly on my 4D playthrough!

It does not suck that much since it only takes around 4-6 hours to run through Disc 2. My Battle skill setup was wrong for Luther, and with mistake, he manage to use Insanity Prelude. Sine I never seen the attack for a year, I forgot how to prevent it form hitting me, so I position my two living chracters directly under the thorn's rising point and died.

Anyways, I just finished successfully though there were a couple of points where I could have been murdered.... No HP dmg 30% of the time saved me from Battlecopter and Luther's last form though he went down pretty quickly.

Anyhow, I wonder how far I can go in the MoT in Disc 1 XD

Over 95 % BTs. I just have some really random ones like hit with battle sphere five times, 1 million button presses, etc left to get which I'm not really trying to actively at the moment xD

Oh and I see some familar faces ;o

Yeah it looks pretty awesome, had a hell of a price tag attached to it though, I also doubt it will go outside of Japan...

I wouldn't mind replaying Till the End of Time again, to finish my 4D post game...but I'm not sidetracked thanks to another of tri-Ace's best titles, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. It's such an awesome, and somewhat different game. Still having some Star Ocean similaries such as SP allocations and Support Skills like First Aid etc.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is a great game the first game I bought from square enix.
