In my first game I had Roger as my rescuer and I got Albel. But my current game had Albel rescuing me 3nodding I absolutely loved that scene. That and the peterny scene pawn all. And I got Peppita, who is awsome.

i was pissed when i had Roger saving my a**, my friend was over and he said roger is in your team now the only words that came out of my moush was "********" >> but shortly after i was raped by the forced battle in the start of the second disk which i didnt save for about 10 whole hours

Funny, I've played the game like 6 times, I have had Nel save me on 4 of them and Albel twice; I've never actually had Roger save me (thank god).

I could understand that "oh ********" Mitcheru. biggrin

Nel is the one I want to save me every time, she is the best optional character in the game. Heres my characters in preferance order.

1) Fayt: Highest DEF stat makes him a tank to work with alone, add Dimension Door, Air Raid & Side Kick and he is a walking & talking weapon.
2) Nel: I always want this hotty at my side, Ice Daggers early saves my a** regularly, then later add Whirlwind, Splitting Sky & Mirror Slice she is simply invaluable to have; her close range attacks & foot speed also pwn.
3) Sophia: Everyone underrates her, which sucks. She can stand back and pwn out every awesome Symbol the game has and offer the most handy "Thunder Flare" cancel bonuses. She can make it impossible for the enemy to move!
4) Cliff: Firstly I love the attitude of the guy, and secondly he can really dish out the damage, Aerial Assault, Max Shockwave etc and his fast attack speed kick everythings a**, just his MP sucks.
5) Maria: Great for offensive cancel chains, although her speed is terrible.
6) Peppita: Don't underrate her either, dancing benefits chained out to offensive attacks really do work.
7) Mirage: Similar to Cliff, I tend to use her more for Triple Kick etc, she is my clearing fighter.
8. Albel: Personality ++ but fighting ability --. He is a slow learner in terms of SP and stats, and can never help himself in battle. The AI chokes with him and he since he is my 3rd optional he also benefits from being a Boots of Pwness source.
9) Roger: His inability to attack airbourne units drives me insane; while he has awesome ATK power, thats about all he has.
10) Adray: Er, the word waste of pixels or something might do here; the only good thing for Adray is to get him early (just before the Airyglyph war) and to get a preview of how much your going to love Sophia's Symbol ability.

NOO! I disagree there. Albel pwns all. And he is an awsome healer too. Yes, he can heal.

And Sophia ruins the explosion attack. BRING CELINE BACK!!! Nel's not all that good either, while she was an alright healer, I can live. I never ever got her in my last party and never will. Hopefully. xD

The Bottom Line: Whirlwind is the most damaging HP skill in the game at level
10; however, it can sometimes get its damage cut in half by enemies with
protection against wind. Mirage's Blazing Cannon is the best non-elemental
skill.

The Bottom Line: Splitting Sky is the most damaging MP skill in the game.
However, it is somewhat slow to start up and is wind-elemental. Maria's
Energy Burst is perhaps the best skill to MP kill with.

Mirage Koas if a personal fav of mine dunno why though she just seems better than cliff with one of her finals said to do the best non elemental hp damage in the game, i love the game even though i havent played in a while

I've still yet to complete my 4D file, I'm up to Crosell atm...man it's tough.

@ Gyoro - That would be Galaxy, don't worry, on my first playthrough even that difficulty was tough. Once you get more comfortable with cancel combos it gets easier.
