I'm just going to go back to the discussions about navi and Ruto for a moment and I say I like them both. Navi for all the positive reasons stated before, and much the same goes for Ruto in my mind, based on points made by you guys.

The Bongos are based on Bongo Bongo but are much smaller than it. Their job is to increase "Morale" for the other monsters. As long as they live, the other monsters in the room become more vicious and deal more damage.

Cubus is basically a spin on the "Cubus Sisters" from Windwaker. They were like female versions of the Poe; almost reincarnates of the Poe Sisters. So because the Poe design I chose was the "Big Poe" from TP, I decided to go "Big Poe" on the Cubus; then eventually decided "Why not use those creepy Japanese ghosts?"
