Well one of the things that immediately turned me off was race selection having a big impact on the character.

If I make something else it'll likely be a caster. I'm not sure which though.

If its a caster, I would make it a Cleric or Paladin. The solo-ability of those classes are very impressive, they can also take multiple roles in a group.

The game just seemed so complicated. When my exp bar filled, I didn't gain a level. instead, something else went up and I wasn't even sure what it was. I was definitely having fun while playing, I just wasn't understanding and if I don't understand what I'm doing I won't play it very long.

Its not that its comlicated per se, its just so diffrent from most MMO's.
In terms of combat, skills, stats ect.

There are five ranks per level(the purple bubbles on the bottom right). There are a total of twenty levels.
Each rank gives you an action point to spend on "Enhancements"(Damage Reduction, Bonus Damage, Limited Sprinting.)
Every level gives you points to spend on "Skills"(Tumble, Diplomacy, Concentration.)
Every three levels, you gain a "Feat"(Two Weapon Fighting, Extend Spell, Trip.)

Technically, there are one-hundred levels in the game, but they do it in an interesting fashion.

Ah, that makes more sense I suppose.

I'm not worried about how easy the game is, in fact, the harder the better imo. I'm actually just worried about the complicity of it. Either of you mind helping me in-game if I decide to reroll? I'll probably reroll wizard if I do.
