Sounds like a RAM issue to me.

How much do you have on your computer? You likely do not have enough. 2GB is probably best recommended to run a RAM eating game like Minecraft.

I'm not sure why nobody has mentioned Java, it will help IMMENSELY if you have a fully runny, compatible 64-bit java-time on your PC. confused
