Don't make a vs. if you're going to be completly biased in yur first post. Personally, I'm undecided on this. And alot of the things you listed for Link were completly useless(mask of scents?) and irrelevent to fighting(sneak past guards?) and seemed to be put there just to make Link look better, while you don't go nearly as in-depth for Sora's description and just focus on your personal opinion of him. Since you mention killing Donald and Goofy in your post, I assume they're in the fight, and having them in there while neglecting to even mention drives or limits clearly shows your bias.

honestly, your critisism makes sense, yet it has a nasty hint of offense, and leaning toward that you like sora better...

I posted the extra things so people could get an idea of link if they didn't know him that well, and any ways that could be figured into a form of fighting.

well maybe the mask of scents thing was sorta a bad idea to put in, but sneaking past the guards shows stealth, backflipping agility, and swimming, diving, and breathing underwater an advantage in some cases. maybe try to think a little longer about these things, no need to offend you, and consider the conditions in my opinion that link has the most advantages. sorry if I upset you at all.

Sora has great agility as well.. he can jump higher, and your ranged attack argument is worthless, as Sora has Ranged magic AND ranged attacks (he throws his Keyblade, ad Sonic Drive zooms across the battlefield).

I could go on and on, but I don't need to. try again.

honestly, i don't trust someone with grammar that limited... and by the way, link could use nayru's love to protect himself from sora, and he could totally freeze sora, or even time for an easy defeat. read "the several ways link could avoid defeat by sora"

Grammar that limited? SHow me where my grammar was limited.

Sora has Reflect and Aeroga, AND a Blizzaga spell. Sure, Link could freeze Sora, but he would have to hit him first. Blizzaga travels faster, last time I checked. ANd Nayru's Love doesn't last forever.

This is... A bit confusing. Is this a "who do you like better" topic, or a "who would win in a fight" topic? The name suggests the former, but the content suggests the latter.

Oh well. For me, it's the same for both. Sora. He's a more developed character. He has more depth in his short time existing than link has from, well, however many years since zelda was released.

As for in a fight, Sora has link beat in every aspect.

Better magic and more spells (and he has healing spells to cancel out links faeries, pots, lon lon milk, what have you.) He can use spells more often, and more rapidly.

The keyblade is not an oversized house key. It's the key to the secret of all existence. A good bit more important than a sword made to combat something as petty and limited as "evil", wouldn't you say? Also, the master swords attack power isn't anything special because of the way the zelda games are designed. The keyblade has much stronger incarnations. So in both aspects, magic and physical attack, the keyblade wins.

Sora has more abilities than link, including his transformations, all of which are more than enough to soundly whomp poor link. Sora wouldn't even need them, but if he did use them, Link would be dispatched that much quicker. As for links ranged capabilities, Sora is well equipped to deal with that. He'd likely be able to dodge most of Links attacks and close on on him, but if it did come to ranged battle, Sora transforms into magic form and shoot spulses of magic energy like a gatling gun, and oh yeah, he can cast spells with absolutely no recovery time, one after the other. I mean instantly.

Growth potential. Sora gets much stronger as he adventures than Link does. Link gains more gadgets, gains heart containers, and a larger magic pool, but his stats remain the same. Soras stats increase vastly as he levels. His growth potential is collossal. Links isn't even mediocre overall.

Soras special attacks. They would make mincemeat out of Link.

Reaction commands. Since this would be a boss battle, Sora would have reaction commands available. Don't know what they would be, but it just hones the already keen edge Sora has over Link.

So yeah, I reall ythink Sora has Link outclassed.

I liked all the different things in Zelda.

Well a version of Link appears in all of the games and it uses about the same legend/history in all.

Link = boomerangs, animals, nuts, sticks, giant monsters to kick, bombs, slingshot, hookshot, magic, etc.

Well...Link is in 15 games (I think)...while Sora is in 2....

whatever, I just like Link more
