Unforgiving Phantom

I have two questions about the game. I recently got the Dream Collector's Special Edition, and the Challenge Stages (based on the Return) are fun so far.
I'm just wondering if 1; is it any good?
2; is it compatible with a Gamecube controller?

I want it, I'm just not sure if it's worth $50. (not that I know too much about it)

Idk about the Gamecube controller but I'm sure you can use the remote sideways style.

It's worth it though, it's better than Kirby 64.

I don't like using the d-pad as the main means of movement, which is why I was asking.
I was more a problem in the original Dreamlandand, and Kirby's Adventure, where you had to press up, to float.
It's still kind of annoying, though..

On a semi-related note, when I got the Collector's Edition I actually mainly got it for Kirby 64 (as I had it as a kid, and loved it) but it, in my opinion, turned out to be the worst of the six.
Still, it was really fun (worst doesn't necessarily mean bad) so if Return is better then it's probably worth the $50.
Kinda stinks that Dedede isn't a boss, though.. (unless there's like a copy of him or something)
'Always look forward to that Dedede fight..

You got a 3DS?

No. I have a Wii and Xbox 360.
I believe my brother has one, though..
Why?

Kirby Triple Deluxe. It's like a smaller version of RtD.

Also once you beat the game, you play as Dedede.

Hm.. The 3DS can play DS titles too, right?
..That'd also allow me to get some other games too..
Problem is the $100-$200 needed to get it..
So RtD probably my best choice if I want a new Kirby game.
Is RtD a semi-long game?

Hm.. Well I'll assume it's at least as long as Dreamland 3, which took a bit..
I think I'll get it. Started playing with the Wiimote for the Challenge Stages, and it's not that bad..
