Kickstarter and the Gaming Industry

I thought it was a pretty neat idea

But there are without any doubt developers who just take the money and run or fail to honor the promotions/incentives they offer to those who support kickstarters



I'm a fan of the DCS World simulator
I've personally never funded a kickstarter and its stories like these that only discourage me

If it hasn't been said already, Super Retro Squad by Exploding Rabbit was looking to be really promising. 4 player co-op and it was coming out on a lot of different systems. They raked in about 100k and ended up cancelling it because it was too hard and the staff members had full time jobs to tend to.
