I'm a fan of Eternal Sonata myself.
If they bring over the Tales of Vesperia PS3
version from Japan to us, I'd say get that, as well.

Psssh... I'm still waiting for Steambot
Chronicles 2 to be at least released in Japan...
I hope that can make it over to the NA. o3o

I really think I may get Folklore.
From what I can see, it looks really good.

its not as heavy as most rpgs, you can sit down and play it for 20mins at a time quite easy. and the end has the most amazing twist.
it may not be a ps3 but its a ps2 if your ps3 can play ps2 games try Phantom Brave. love the game and it may have ok graphics but the content is great! biggrin
I saw you mentionning Folklore alot, if your into Final Fantasy and the likes....I wouldn't recommend it really. I am a huge RPG fan myself, pretty much played everything the PS1 & 2 had to offer, but when I bought Folklore I was a bit dissapointed. Story-wise it's errrrr....let's just say it left me cold. The gameplay is fun for a while but gets repetitive (yea yea, I know there's a bunch of monsters to get but in the end it's feels like all the same thing. You'll use some monsters only once or twice, unless you really want to unlock everything). The dungeons feel like it's the same thing over and over again but with different graphics, bleh. The fact that you stay in the same town during the whole game doesn't help.

This is a negative review, yes. And YOU as a different person than me might just love the game. But please, rent it before wasting 60 something bucks like I did.

If I would recommend a good ol' RPG on the PS3 thats available now, I'd say Cross Edge, no contest.

I've heard a lot about Tales of Vesperia.
I've been interested in that for awhile.
Eternal Sonata is amazing also.

Hmm...
Well, so long as it has good characters and a tad bit of romance, I have no problem with it.

I've been watching some advertisements for Cross Edge, and I'm not too sure if it's my type of game.
I love the concept of it though.

I've gotten to play the demo of Tales of Vesperia for
the 360, and I found it fun. Hopefully, they will bring it on
over to us, so that the PS3 users may get a chance at it.

I adore Eternal Sonata, hands down,
it has to be one of my favorite games.

The game i will more likley get will be demon souls.
lots of people are lovin demons souls, when star ocean comes that is buy for sure..that's ff13 status almost..and from what a friend told me blu ray will do it more justice than others because the disk switching was a problem. i kinda liked last remnant but others have mixed reactions..valkyria chronicles, oblivion if you like that (and if you like that fallout) then you have shake left to choose from

The Star Ocean series is my favorite thus far.
I've already played SO:TLH on 360 and it was amazing.
Definitely worth it.

I've already played Oblivion, although I'm not much for Fallout...
I'm not too sure about Demon's Souls. It seems just like Oblivion =/

I think it's amazing that Eternal Sonata was a game based on classical music.
Being a musician myself, I found it most enjoyable xD
It's tied with Star Ocean as number one on my favorites.
