I actually didn't think it was too bad, but it was tedious enough to keep it from being a I MUST HAVE game.

It was fun...ish...
Getting the sprites just so I could marry Nami was just...GAH. Frustrating. Also I can never complete my kitchen because the shopping channel never sells anymore utensils... XD Plus its way to easy to get rich in that game...no challenge. |

It was fun for a while but since I got the bugged edition, a lot of things can't be done so I married Karen and finished the game :/

Harvest Moon is a good series in general.. but what they have out for the DS now kinda sucks... whats with that new witch character? Personally I think the GBA version was much better done. neutral

personally i thought it was a great game
it made controls that were on the adavance so much easier but i do think they could have changed it so you did not have to get 60 sprites just to marry or enjoy other parts of the game i got 56 of them and getting 4 more is like impossible rune factory was a pretty great game both are worth playing |

I Prefer Rune Factory over HMDS. It put a nice twist on the series. You can get HMDS for pretty cheap now, like $10 or something.

rune factory is a typical harvest moon game in the fact that you get to own your own farm tend to crops and live a happy married life
but instead of animals you have "monsters" you go through a seires of caves with not your hoe but weapons such as a your main weapon a sowrd each monster plays the part of animal but you will have to build monster shacks first (basially barns) and that about covers the basics |

the only time i did play Harvest Moon was on the GC...i don't think I would like the DS versions just doesn't look "fun".

I thought it was fun since it was my first harvest moon game but i cant find a blue feather.
