Never played Diablo so I'm not sure how relevant this suggestion is;

Minions of mirth has a nice, close knit, community. I used to play this a couple years ago and people still recognize me after a multiple year break whenever I log on.

Oh, I'm sorry I read your post as searching for a game with a class system where people come together online to kill stuff. I guess I'll just defer to Raalph's expertise in this case. :P
The graphics are indeed older generation stuff. And the game is set on an engine that would take a bit of work to add all your fancy bloom and stuff to. It runs pretty good on all ranges of hardware though.

Although I understand if thats not your cup of tea. I'll just go back to playing minecraft and PNPDND ^.^

I really appreciate it , I looked at pics and videos and it just doesnt seem like my cup of tea.

I hear that its somewhat fun, but I wouldn't say that it's decent graphics for a free game. Look at games like Forsaken World and Aika Online, they're free and have generally 10x better graphics than games like Eden Eternal, and pretty much anything that comes out of Aeria Games.



I do play League of Legends though.

By the way, if you liked Diablo, you might like Dragon Nest. The graphics are in a chibi-standard, but the game engine itself is fun if you try it. It's sort of like an action MMO, not a turn-based MMO like everything else. The Acrobat or the Sorceress class are the two most fun classes, because they have quick skills that blows s**t up.

Try DC Universe Online. It's free and it's very good.


It's real-time, free roaming GTA-ish style and based on the super heroes from DC. (Superman, Batman and Wonderwoman)
