The trailer was fantastic, yet a bit depressing. A few questions though:
Everyone was turned to ash except for a few survivors. Was there some kind of a nuclear blast the Locust launched, or was this just put in to match the mood of the trailer?
New enemy even Locust fear. Seemed to pick up on the Gravemind element from Halo. how did this come about?
Anya has a gun.
Why is a woman in the fight? I'm guessing she's a playable character. That's awesome for those ladies out there.
Marcus's shotgun. Another weapon variant or a replacement?
Dom's beard. No question. Just epic.

I'm not sure why everyone was ashes, I think it was just symbolic. Considering the ash people looked like civilians, they probably symbolize the millions of helpless people killed by the Locust already.
The new locust is a Lambent, who set out to destroy Locust and COG alike.
I'm not sure if that's Anya, it's probably a new female COG.
It's a double barrel shotgun, it's new.
Well the people who broke into ashes got hit with the hammer of dawn due to locust infestation
Anya is going to serve in the fight now (playable character uncertain)
The double barrel is a new usable gun (stronger than gnasher shorter range and longer reload)
The gun Dom used is the Pendulum Lancer from the Pendulum Wars(performs gruesome executions)
New 4 player story co-op (Yes you play as Baird and Cole) Plus you play as COG soldier in 1 part
Creatures in back are lambant
Takes place 16 months after Gears 2 (Explains Doms beard he kind of reminds me of Carlos)
