whatever..... if u guys want to see what Gaaras sand can do, watch naruto episodes 48-50 on youtube. There u will see how much better gaara is then Link. And this is before he gets his true power as the Kazekage. And i am not trying to be biased. I have played a few of the LoZ games b4. All im saying is that a sword cannot pass through rock, and neither can arrows. I dont know what other equipment Link has on him during this fight, but as far as i know, nothing from Link's arsenal can stop the sand.

I am. Sorry if I seem like a Gaara hater (he is not my favorite but I do not hate him) but no one has really told me anything to prove to me that Gaara would win.

I'm trying to point out that people who don't know much about even the names of characters in adored Japanese cartoons they should do research themselves before telling others to go learn things. Fan boys do that sort of thing often you know. It's a well know fact.

Okay, fine, ill put it in this perspective. So if his hammer could break through the sand, Gaara has something even better, his sand armor. This is like a layer of sand that goes all over his body that prevents from from being injured whatsoever. not only this, he could use the sand as a small cloud or something to float above link, giving him a chance to recover, and keep himself at a safe distance when he sends the sand the he can spare to attack Link.

Let me post what I think would give Gaara the win.

Sand coffin (engulfs opponent)
Sand burial (crushes opponent)
Auto matic sand defense (He doesn't have to lift a fingeer to protect himself)
Sand armor (a precaution taken on the rare occasion he gets hit)
The ability to turn into that demon 1 tail something.
Sand ocean attack around episode 128 I think http://www.wospace.com/?p=128 look it up there.
I've cosidered Link's abilities he can't win.
