Is there some sort of trick to dodging 200 bolts? Does it have to be consecutive? Because wtf Japan?

There's a small crater south of the travel agency, near a lightning tower on the left hand side. Every time you run into it, it will prompt a lightning strike, which you can easily dodge since you know it's coming. After dodging, run next to the lightning tower to reset the prompt, and repeat. I got 250 dodges easily.
