That game you love to hate, and the game that you hate to love! D: No, but seriously. What's your take of the game? Character voices, game play, etc.

Personally, I was kind of thinking that Crispin Freeman would be a voice in the game... Probably as Chopin. Heh, but Patrick Seitz does do a really good job. And the game play is definitely unique, I mean the attacks and monsters changing depending on light or dark, that's just cool... And the story line is original, too. Makes you kind of wonder why no one thought of making a game after a famous composer earlier on. :3

Until I looked at the voice list, I was convinced Chopin was voiced by Crispin Freeman. It does sound an awful lot like him!

I was both impressed and disappointed with Eternal Sonata. The combat is excellent, the visuals contain all the beauty, colour and vibrance promised us throughout the experience (except for one dungeon, which I shall strike from my memory). The music is consistantly excellent, and the characters are awesome.

My disappointment lies in the story and it's awful, contrived and pretentious dialouge (or rather, monolouges, and lots of them). And certain key elements of the story are.. well.. wrapped up in a way that seems forced and anticlimactic.

It's easily the best jrpg on the 360 at the moment. Although, given that its peers are Blue Dragon and Enchanted Arms, that's like beating a retarded quadruple amputee at swingball.

I know. It does sound just like 'im, huh? I suppose that's why I was surprised that it wasn't him. D:

The graphics are indeed beautiful... Though, it's kind of hindered by the camara view that can't be changed.

Heh, it does seem to force unwanted morals down people's throat... It could be better, but overall, it could be worse. I guess we'll just have to wait for the PS3 version of it, to see if it's any different.

Why does that sound like fun...? Err, anyway, it easily beats out other JRPGs, obviously, but they could improve on it. It's kind of like the Inuyasha anime series... Has the same thing repeated and plot holes... In the end, making it just an "okay" show, instead of something better, in which it could be. :3

The PS3 version, from what I know so far, will feature extra story scenes, new costumes and Crescendo and Serenade as playable characters. I guess the extra content almost offsets that ports to the PS3 from other consoles are almost invariably dire.

Although, I only liked the moppet prince because he's voiced by Cam Clarke (where would any self respecting voice cast be without him?), and Serenade can fall off a bridge and die for all I care.

Spoilers faded to white: It may be wrong that I instantly guessed Claves was the spy because she's the only character who didn't go off on a self-righteous monolouge at some point. Except during her tragic death scene, where she said the same things again and again for 20 minutes. Even though I was sympathetic towards her, by the end of the scene I was muttering aloud 'Oh god, would you just die already, please?'

Heh, I know... Why is it that dying characters never just die and have to ramble on? You're dead, stop talking, it doesn't matter, anymore. D:
