Welcome to Gaia! ::

Oooh yes, I usually have that problem. Especially when using the famas on Black Ops because the clip is short. I had dual mags on there for a while, then I switched to extended mags. It helps.. to an extent. lol.

Aha, I reload constantly too. It made it very difficult to get that one achievement on Splinter Cell (you're meant to get a certain number of kills with a single weapon without reloading, iirc).

Drives me nuts when weapons are slow to reload -- I much prefer the glitch on RE5's Mercs! xD

Doesn't everybody?

The only time I don't reload is when I can't, like playing as Heavy in TF2, or the Pyro, or if I'm on a mounted machine gun that has unlimited ammo.
More often than not it's better to just reload,
and yes I do it instantly as well.
Though my main FPS is TF2 and there is no reload penalty in that game.
However I think most games will allow you to switch weapons while in mid reload.
So if you get caught you can still switch and shoot back,
which is usually faster than waiting to reload.
I don't do that anymore.

Mainly because the games I play, it wastes ammo if I do.

And in the other games, I know, know for a FACT the moment I try to reload is when an enemy will show up. SO I never reload until I actually have to.

Guilty as charged. Can't run out of bullets mid-fight, can we?
After every kill yes, unless there is a person really close to them I keep on shooting lol

Hey, I've been playing shooters for about six years now, and I noticed I reload after almost every kill, which is a problem sometimes. So I was wondering, does anyone else do this?
If not, what habit do you have when gaming? From clicking the analog stick, to gunning the engine in racers.

Yes. It was also a problem when I started playing Fallout New Vegas.

Hey, it's better than running out during a fight. It's only a game where it's just like you're refilling the same mag instead of replacing the whole thing and loosing ammo. Lol

I only do it when the game in question suffers from the repetitive kill-the-player-without-mercy-and-laugh-in-his(hers)-face syndrome.

Yea, it seems like quite the widespread problem.

I have that problem. It's the main reason I turn on automatic reload if a game has the option. xD
