Thousand Arms

In this game you play as Meis, a horny protagonist. This is a really fun game where you connect with many girls while following a good story line. You must go on dates with the girls to get them up to the next level. Once your intimacy level has gone up, you can upgrade your weapons with new attacks with the help of the girl. The characters are funny and memorable. This is a really classic dating sim like RPG. For more info: Thousand Arms

Would Monster Rancher count? 4 and Evo I agree are more RPGs than simulation, but the first three and the portable games I think would qualify.

Also, how about Mabinogi? It advertises itself as a "fantasy life", since you can do a lot of things like playing music as well as fighting.

And I love The Sims, Recettear, Animal Crossing, and Princess Maker. biggrin

I have seen a bit on Monster Rancher? What do you do in the game?

I may add Mabinogi. I have never played it, but I have always wanted to, I just haven't had enough free time. Have you played it?

I have yet to play Recettear or Princess Maker. What was Recettear like? Also if you beat it, how long was the gameplay and how difficult was it? Have you played Princess Maker? How were you able to play it? I know there are probably emulators out there for it. I would really like to play it. It looks so fun!

That looks like a fun game. It is looking like I am may have to get a 3DS and a playstation vita with all these new cool games coming out. gonk What all do you do in this game?

Monster Rancher plays a lot like Princess Maker but with monsters.

I had to use an emulator to play the abandonware English version of Princess Maker 2, and I imported Princess Maker 5 and used a translation guide.
