Neither. Console war is a waste of time and is a fad that will eventually die out anyway. Not to mention, fanboyism killed the DreamCast. I hope you are all proud of yourselves.
Xbox 360--A rather delicate system that has a strong game gallery. Good controller for shooters, not so much fighting games. Affordable and currently running strong in the market. Excellent online with communication and actual purpose to gamer points. Except, accidentally kicking it and the system eating my disc wasn't very relieving, M$ has surprisingly fine customer service.
PS3--A powerful system that does everything you want...besides just playing a damn game. Good controller for fighting games, but not so much shooters. In fact, the controller has barely changed since PSX, besides the analog sticks. And, charging $50 for a controller severely pisses me off. Now finally more affordable after Sony realized they were losing billions of dollars in revenue after five years. Free online, but you wouldn't want it anyway, considering you'd actually rather not having a mic in order not to hear people talk. IS there a purpose to trophies? I really don't need a trophy just for putting a game in the system.
It may sound like I have beef with the PS3, and I do, but I don't hate either system. I have both of them, because I want games on both of them. It's simple as that.
Oh, and there's the Wii. Eh.
