That's what I was trying to get at, that's why Star Ocean will probably be ported to the PS3.

I know.

The hatred for the 360 isn't because they didn't design it, the Japanese didn't design the Atari 2600, and it did very well did it not?

That was my opinion...in reality, I don't know why the 360 is hated.

Also, I should ad that Bioshock and Eternal Sonata were also supposed to be Xbox 360 exclusives, but look where they are now.

As well as Fallout 3 & R.E. 5...two more "exclusives" that's getting multiple portings

Exactly.

I can't wait to get a Wii...they've got exclusives.

The hard part is seperating the good exclusives from the bad. wink

That is so true...but then again same goes for the ports

Personally, I prefer the older systems. Yes, the graphics weren't the best (though you really gotta love the little 16-bit Dr. Mario), but the games were SO much more interesting. It was more about content back then. Now, every other game is either a sequel/updated version or just plain s**t. Nothing new comes out anymore. It's sad.

Favorite consoles: NES, SNES, PS, Game Boy and Sega Dreamcast
Hated consoles: N64, Xbox. Xbox360, PS2 and PS3 and Game Gear

You mean...

Company A died, then Company B talks about Blast Processing, some games with Super in them, and then somehow some stupid Mariupol goes and redefines gaming. And then the fact that Square was almost dead until FF VII.

...What's really sad you fail to count the fact that in the mid 80s to early 90s everything re-hashed itself.

Until 1996-1999.

What is truly sad is that I am of that era and believe me the bad out-weighed the good. Up until the Playstation nothing was really "new".

Most ports end up okay though, unless if the team in charge are inept (I'm looking at you F.E.A.R. PS3) they turn out pretty well. The Wii is in a bad position, there is far too much shovelware with it, developers need to follow suit of the Boom Blox game which is incredibly simple, addictive, and GOOD... It's probably on the same game engine as Wii Sports...

I'd like the Wii more if there were more games that had a couple seconds of thought behind it, however, that seems like it's too much to ask for.

C'mon...you can't be serious. R.E. 4's porting to the Wii was a "Just because"...a targeting reticule tied into the WiiMote? I bet it's the same with House of the Dead 2 & 3.
domokun i would have too pick the SNS where alot of the classics are from like metroid and the lemmings, like if i could pick a system if i was stuck on a island or some thing i would pick the xbox360 or a ps3 ninja

True, although last generation's mantra seems to be the same: "Buy the Xbox version." They should probably add "And rent the Wii's" to the end.

Of which when Halo came out, moronic speech hit an all new low.

Um... you are aware Halo was a LAUNCH title? And not the consoles overall, just the ports. I also feel a strange urge to post that I despise the original Xbox, and loved my PS2 (Katamri Damacy! Woo!) and Gamecube (Animal Crossing! Woo!) to death.

I disagree on many levels...
