Did you jsut mindlessly copy-pasta this in the other sticky?

Awesome, I can do the same thing!

So in short, the X-360 is awesome because you say so, and Japanese gamers are stupid and rascist because you say so? The 360's universal, when the only games they've released in the US so far are almost carbon copies of the original launch, sans Halo and adding a medicore platformer to it as well...

That, plus the nearly incomprehensible speech, among other things, makes this a post to be remembered, if only for the unintentional laughs in the script.

In response to khari-the-dark...

I agree with umm... Most of what you said, but I must disagree in some things. I am with you all the way when it comes to PS3. Sony is about to screw themselves. They basically have with the PSP. I mean seriously. The Nintendo DS has sold well over DOUBLE what the PSP has. Sony believed that just because it had the PlayStation name on the box and console like graphics on a handheld, people would fork over any amount of cash the a little sucker. Well... It seems that PSP is going the way of the Sega Game Gear. That's right, Game Gear and I use that as my example because Gear Gear did compete with Game Boy for a very long time. One problem though. Game Boy was cheaper, had a wider selection of games, and didn't use any where near as much battery power as the Game Gear did. So in the end, Nintendo was the victory!

It is true though, and I will admit it, Nintendo has not done the smartest of things these past two home console generations, but you know what, they thought the same thing Sony is thinking now. Give them bigger graphically more impressive games to look at and we will win! Wrong. That philosophy almost sunk them. Now Sony shall stride down that path.

Now on to Revolution. You know what? Developers are going nuts over Nintendo's new console! People are eating it up! To tell you the truth though, I don't know everything about this new system, but I sure can't wait for E3 now to see what it is fully capable of. With the one handed controller, the analog stick add-on, and the shell that mocks Sony and Microsofts next gen controllers, it is going to be able to do so many other things then the competition could even think of doing. With the apple like design of the Revolution, it is going to put Sony's massive PS3 to shame.

Ending with the XBOX 360 is a must because I love XBOX!!! Their console is nice looking, has wonderful graphics, and has an online system to die for. However, it still plays like everything we have played before. No offense to video games, but they are starting to become sequals clogged. Don't get me wrong, I love sequals to games that I liked, nut when eight other developers grabs the controls of a game that sold well and slap them into their own, it begins to get boring. I like 360, but all it is is a huge upgrade of the XBOX.

So in conclusion, I believe that Revolution shall come out with the victory. I mean really. It plays GameCube games, it plays CDs, it plays DVDs, it play games that we have never dreamed of playing in our homes, it goes online, and it is priced to sell. Thank you.
One more thing! The XBOX 360 is selling like CRAP in Japan. That's all.
Thank you asa for an inteligent argument rather than a capslock infested noobathon.

OMG dajavu
as long as the console is cheaper and have a wide variety of games , that console will have the upper hand

Not the truth though! Just because someone goes to IGN does not mean that they automatically think that PS3 is "God". I personally, have no interest in the PS3. Ken Kutaragi has already stated that the PS3 is going to be the system the you save up for. He did that at E3! I'm sorry to say this, but with a 60GB hard drive, a CD, DVD, and a Blu Ray player, the new Cell chip, so many not needed components (e.g. 3 ethernet plug-ins, 2 HD video outs, 6 USB ports, etc.), and the fact that they are driving it to send out seven blue tooth signals for controllers, well... Unless Sony is willing to take a MASSIVE financial blow, there is no way that the PS3 is going to be even close to $450. It is going to have one heft price tag on it. So just take your crazy hopes that you will be playing Metal Gear Solid 4 on a $400 system and prepare to be dishing out some major cash.

Guess what. SOny themselves have stated that they are preparing for a loss on the PS3. Sure. THe PS3 will be expensive to develop. However, that does not mean that they will jack the price up to extravagant ranges. Also, Kutaragi's batshit insane. Don't believe any figures until Sony comes out with an official figure. Just don't expect it to be over 500.
with the revolutionary controller, nintendo would win it, but it will alway be the 3rd sadly crying
Are you serious Godfather!?! Kutaragi may be insane, but Sony and himself both have their heads up their asses (and Sony is a pretty big company so that means of lot of heads up the a**. rofl ). As I had stated in my second most recent post, Sony thinks that they are some big bad a** at the moment and rightfully so I might add. They are the videogame big shot right now. Niether Nintendo nor Microsoft have been able to bring them to humbleness. Now then, because of this, Sony is going to do the same thing that they have done with the PSP. Did you know that Sony has just recently released the new reshipping of their PSP. In the box it comes with a PSP, the charger, and umm... oh wait, THAT'S IT!!! Now then, that's all fine and dandy, except for the next comment. What was that comment you may ask? Well I shall tell you! This release of the PSP shall be at a budget price of... Now remember, they had just said "budget price." Know what they think "budget price" is? $200!!! For a handheld!!! I'm sorry, but the last I checked, you could buy a PS2 with a fully priced game and play it on a fully sized screen for that price.

So that brings me to my wonderful little point that I was trying to make in my comment you so easily cast to the side. Do you really think that Sony, the company that is now being beaten worldwide in the handheld market, is really going to release a full blown console with brand new Blu Ray technology that can cost up in the thousands for just a player, along with other not needed jack up the price additions is really going to release this product at a price that is going to hit them so hard finacially that it could possibly bankrupt them if it is a flop? No sir. They are smarter then that at least. Sony will release it and they will release it with a VERY high price tag. From what I am hearing, a price tag of close to $1000.

Now then, don't just cast this post to the side like you did my last. Actually take the time to read what I am saying and think about it from the view point of a company who thinks that they can release what ever PlayStation product they want at what ever price that want and then also think about it from an executives view. You can do that right? Unless you can't comprehend corporate affairs that is. lol

I'm sorry, but unless you are an idiot, you know that the PS3 is going to be well over the $500 price that you say it will be no higher than. Thank you.

Now, I know that the PSP's price has recently been dropped, but please provide proof of the package being reduced, and Sony calling it a "budget price".

You seem to forget something. Sony is not only a videogame company. Sony has its hands all over the electronics business. They can, and are preparing to, handle a loss on the PS3. Provide proof of the price tag, by the way. Again, do not trust any figures until we get some official ones from Sony.

Then Sony themselves are idiots.
Well, well, well. You comment faster then I had expected, but that's okay! I got that "proof" that you were so much complaining about. For starters, I would like to say that I am sorry for putting the wrong word down. What I wrote was "budget", but what Sony said, was "affordable". Other then that, here it is...

"Budget" PSP

There you go! As far as the other proof that you so hastely asked me for, umm... I NEVER SAID I A PRICE POINT!!! All I said was that if you take into consideraton what Sony has been doing as of late and the fact that it is just corporate thinking (you most likely wouldn't know that though so I don't know why I am trying to explain this again) nothing more. So next time, take that time to read slower like I suggested in my prior post. It'll get you places.
OBOI OBOI. DIS ASABA A SMURT WON, 'RN'T 'E?

They're making available a "Core system" along with their value package and the other one with the extra stuff. It also comes with a memory stick, which you conviniently left out.

The PSP isn't winning against the DS, that is obvious, but it's doing better than any handheld system that went against Nintendo before it. And if the numbers continue as they are, the PSP's overall sales will overtake the DS's in the US this year.

Analysts are predicting the PS3 to be anywhere from the high three hundered up to seven to eight hundered, but back in the day before the PSP's release the same analysts were predicting it to be in the high five hundered dollar range, so they were dead wrong. Sony is planning on taking a huge loss in order to make their console more affordable, and they are by FAR not idiots when it comes to marketing a console.

If you wish to talk PS3 price numbers, there's rumors about that Sony's telling it's business partners that the PS3 will release for under 380 dollars, which could mean that it'd be close to the original PS1 and PS2 launch prices. But again, it's all rumors and speculation, and neither you nor I can say with any certainty what the PS3's price will be. But Sony isn't stupid when it comes to marketing, as the PS1's and PS2's number-of-units-sold shows.

Funny you mention Market Analysts, Bag...THOSE idiots have been miscalculating EVERYTHING since the start of Wall Street. Sony's Analysts are, for the most part, Oblivious to the "Real Gamer", they make up this "Gamer" out of compiled data of their products, regional sales, and lastly Marketed Deomgraphics (the last one, found out recently, is being ignored by Nintendo...look it up!)...from that data compiled they make this "Gamer" to be the sole driving force to sell their wares to...

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME ALL!!!

That's cause some of the japanesee hate the US.But they have the reason too I supose. Then there are alot of fanboys that won't touch something new. And truly the 360 has out sold the first xbox in japan already. So really, I don't "CRAP" is the word.

The Xbox sold horribly in Japan.
I don't see how you could use the "360 sold more then Xbox in Japan!" line,as the Xbox sold like s**t.
