Cube is majorily kiddie games, and that's why it didn't sell much compared to the other two. But they were all great games. Super Smash Brothers and Resident Evil 4, which of course yeah disproved that the Cube was a 'kiddie' console.
I totally disagree with anyone that says tha the Cube is "kiddy" system.

I remember doing some reseach and coming across that a large percentage of games on the Cube are T rated. They might have been beaten by the amount of E rated games, but infact there are every year a higher percentage of games that are E than any other rating. This is mainly due to sports games which the Cube has LOT of.

I'll also go through my Cube games and their age rating (in both the American and British/Europe rating system.

1080 Avalance - E/3+ (expected seeing as its a sports game)
Baten Kaitos - T/12+
Battalion Wars - T/12+
Eternal Darkness - M/15+
F-Zero Gx - T/3+
Fire Emblem: PoR - T/7+
Ikaruga - E/11+ (might get a E10+ if rated in this new system)
Killer7 - M/18+
Zelda - Collectors Edition - E/7+
Zelda Wind Waker - E/7+
Mario Kart: DD!! - E/3+
Metroid Prime - T/12+
Metroid Prime 2 - T/12+
Paper Mario 2 - E/3+
Phantasy Star Online 1+2 - T/11+
Resident Evil 4 - M/15+
Skies of Arcadia: Legends - T/11+
Sonic Adventure Dx - E/3+
Sonic Adventure 2 - E/3+
Sonic Mega Collection - E/3+
Soul Calibur 2 - T/16+
SSX On Tour - T/PG(12+)
Starfox Adventures - T/3+
Super Mario Sunshine - E/3+
Super Smash Bros. Melee - T/11+
Viewtiful Joe 2 - T/12+

Most of my games are T/12+, maybe it could be cause Im older but I'm just showing that the Cube has games that appeal to the older market and is not a "kiddy console".
I've got some 40+ gamecube games, most of which are 'T' rated and up. I also have some 30 PS2 games, which about 1/3 of them are at least E rated. And for My Xbox games, funny enough most of them are M rated.

Nintendo DS I like the console but the game selection for the most part is very limited

  • Advance Wars: Dual Strike
  • Age of Empires: The Age of Kings
  • Animal Crossing: Wild World
  • Brain Training
  • Electroplankton
  • Kirby: Canvas Curse
  • Mario Kart DS
  • Meteos
  • Metroid Prime: Hunters
  • Metroid Prime Pinball
  • New Super Mario Bros.
  • Nintendogs
  • Osu! Tatake! Ouendan!
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
  • Pokémon Ranger
  • Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
  • Sonic Rush
  • Tetris DS
  • The Rub Rabbits
  • Tony Hawk's American Sk8land
  • Trauma Centre: Under the Knife
  • Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble
  • Wario Ware: Touched!
  • Yoshi's Touch & Go
  • ...and more!

Soooo... tell me again how limited the selection of DS games is. wink

Resident Evil Deadly Silence are very vsually pleasing but again not a new game.

It may be another remake, but there is quite a bit of new DS-specific content, plus the new features of the First Person view.

I just did a search on IGN.... There are 403 games that are either out, they are making it, or announced......
For the DS? Seriously? surprised

And that's less than a year since the system's European release, too! eek

Go under game search and for the platform put Nintendo DS. There's a lot of games coming out for it.
eek

And all that in less than a year after its EU release.

The DS goes one year from being announced to being released.
Just under one year later, we now know 403 games have been released, have been announced, or have started development, and 30+ of the already released or soon-to-be released games are already AAA classics.

This, surely, is unprecedented, or at least hasn't happened since the early 1980s?

Oh, don't say that...in the early 80's, tons of games came out because they were of incredibly low quality and easy to produce.
I mean, some of the games in that list of 403 are games like Elf Bowling 1+2... gonk
nintendo wins them all

When it came out I really didn't think it'd do as good as it is! And when they said they were coming out with Mario Kart DS (online), Animal Crossing (online), and Metroid Prime Hunters (online), I was really happy. Plus games like Nintendogs, Advanced Wars, and Castlevania were great.
Alright, so I myself am not a Nintendo fan... After the Nintendo 64 I just lost hope in it. Why? Because, the Nintendo Gamecube isn't appealing to me at all. I mean sure there are T games and M games for it. But really now who gives a crap? Seriously, I mean when it all comes down to it, its the quality of the game that counts... And for me I just suppose I haven't seen those out there for the Gamecube a while now. I mean granted from time to time there will be a game there that does have orgasmic graphics and up beat action. But to me it just doesn't seem there are a lot of those on the gamecube.

I'll just stick to my PS2 and Xbox for now.

And If I were to choose the best gaming system out there so far right now as of this moment. It'd be the PS2. It proved its worth in the game Shadow of the Colossus.

Indeed. When I first bought it, I played Feel the Magic, GBA games, and the MPH demo over and over...and then Advance Wars came out. And Kirby's Canvas Curse... and Castlevania...and Trauma Center...then Phoenix Wright...

After that, it's superiority was firmly implanted in my mind.

The Nintendo DS has the possibility to be the best handheld console in video game history.
I'll vote for Ds and Gamecube, and this is soley based on the fact that I really like the games on it.

next would be ps2 good over all console.

Personally I don't like the psp or xbox xp

Or should I say, the next generation sticky goes faster?...
