All of the current consoles are great, and bad in their own light. Good games, bad games, but I perfer Xbox due to its include hard drive. no need to clear my memory stick of rented game saves. I wish there were more of a reason to play my Gamecube, but until there is its collecting Dust. The Playstation 2 has a great catalogue, but the GPU is showing its age now, and the controller isn't that comfortable.

I would go for the Gamecube and the Xbox. The Gamecube is the most durable of all consoles, which is great for travel, but it also does not have a very good variety of games now a days. The Xbox is great due to the hard drive, but once it gets to old, it gets "Red Eye".

i own a gamecube, a wii, a ps2, and a ds. of those it's a close tie between a ps2 and a ds, the ds is more for my kind of game (rpg and strategy) and ps2 is more for first person shooters and destroy everything that moves type games.

I love my psp, the screen is good enough for reading ebooks, and great enough for games. However if someone wants to give me a game console for my birthday or whatever, I'd love to have a Wii! heart heart

Ah, I remember the old days of SNES VS Genesis. I honestly never chose one or the other. My heart does think fondly of the SNES, but I will never denounce the Genesis for all the Sonic glory (and, of course, Toejam and Earl). Both systems are very nostalgic.

Nowadays, though, I don't see much point in the system wars. Many games cross consoles, and if they don't, they will later. I just wait in the background for price drops and wait to see which games go where.
