Yeah I thought the qte and the beat em up were too easy but it's set to the easiest difficulty
in the demo and those were only half levels. Each level is split into multiple episodes. We weren't
even able to complete either of them. In my opinion, it was too early to judge based on an
E3 demo from 9 months ago.

still so many quick time events, its like the developers only now got an hint of what an game is.
also answer me why you would release an 9 months old demo, i mean wouldn't that in turn give people an bad impression of the game and make them not but the game?.

Most demos are months and sometimes up to a year old. Whatever they present at E3 or PAX is usually what the developer's release to the general public. They do that to save money. It's cheaper
to do that. Unless there's a huge public upcry and there's seriously something wrong with the demo
the won't release something new. Because a lot of game goes into "crunch time" so there is
absolutely no time to develop a new demo and there's almost always no time to finish the game.
Most games actually are polished and finished 2-3 weeks prior to release. I didn't really mind the
QTE since you would have lost the cinematic quality if it was any other way.

why would you want cinema-tics in an game anyway? theyre pretty annoying.
if i wanted this i qould very easily just watch some anime or such, but no i play video-games because i wanna play, not just time button presses and watch some ridiculous looking guy apparently punch some guy bigger than the earth itself.
Yes, you could easily go watch an anime, or you could play this and be part of the anime feel.

And i couldnt help but laugh a little, you play video games exactly to time button presses and watch a guy punch crap/slash things/shoot people. This game just makes you do it more often so youre actually paying attention to whats going on screen and watching instead of staring and reading subtitles.

i think interaction should be prioritized in game development, not spectacle.
Then it's a good thing they prioritized interaction by putting in all those QTEs so that you're interacting with the game as the story is playing out, and not just watching it, isn't it?

I will be getting the game but, i was extremely let down by the demo. I saw this video before I played the demo and was like "DAM, Dragonball z on steriods!"

The the demo was just 2 boss fights which were decent, but the whole one hit kill to fat budda was like "COME ON!?" I was thinking that he would at least disintegrate his right arm or something; Not kill him.

There was so much left unturned about the demo. I had to do a few searches just like the one up there to see if i really wanted to get this game. It does seem like a s**t load of cutscenes to this game but, when anime meets games, the result is this game.

The worst mistake this company has ever made was releasing a demo for this game. I was really interested until I played it. It's awful.
since I'm a huge anime fan, and I don't really mind quick time events as much as everyone else seems to, I've been pretty exited for this game. The first section of the demo was kinda iffy for me, but the fight with Augus was really cool so I don't think it will be bad in any sense.
I personally like the fact that it's not a traditional action game and that they've tried something new.

I'll admit, I'm not playing Asura's Wrath for the gameplay. It's nice to see something different, sure, but I'm playing it because the story and characters snagged my interest.

Needless to say, I have it pre-ordered. I get a sweet wall scroll as loot, too! surprised
