Amnesia the Dark Decent or Justine

My friends and I just spent the past week playing it and I was was curious on if anyone else has? Or was thinking about it??? I have to admit it is a lot of fun for everyone....though it does make you scream. It was a lot of fun!

if you have played it what made you scream more? or favorite part? funniest thing you did to stall? I'm just on an amnesia high and feel like talking about it with other people who played it! So your thoughts?????

I loved it. My favorite part was the moments when you got to explore and find notes and learn more about the story. (Least favorite part: final boss. What the heck??) My funniest moments were probably the ones where I was running like a maniac, or the time when I ran into a room for safety, thinking the door would protect me... xd

The first time I ever played the game, I stayed up late at night and had the door to my room closed, and just as I was getting used to the atmosphere, my dad knocked on the door. He never has something to say to me that late, so I nearly jumped out of my skin at the unexpected noise that was in the same room as me!!!

I don't scream out loud, though. razz

Most frustrating thing was probably when I invited my friends over to watch some of Amnesia, after hyping up all the great things about it...and I managed to get stuck at a part where it wasn't dark, there were no monsters, etc.

Scariest part for me was actually the DLC, "Justine." I...could not finish that. I made it through everything in the main game, but that...no...

the final boss was definitely anti climactic! did you do all the endings??
my major fail moment was in the kitchen when you have the acid one of my friends told me to put stuff in the acid to watch them turn to dust and of course I do it and ended up puting a glass bottle in there....those things don't do anything instead it bounces up and down. That made the monster curous when i had to hide in there so then at ate me sad sad sad sad

and I had kinda the same experience with someone scaring the crap out of me. I was playing the game and my friend said she was leaving. Therefore I believed her and next thing I know she blew down my neck and I slapped her in the face. Needless to say she learned her lesson....I hope.

I haven't tried Justine yet...i've only watched videos of it....it sucks that you can't save at all!!!!

i just heard about it and purchased it last week. And you're in for a treat make sure you play in pure dark and with headphones!!! It makes it 10X creepier

I don't know, I'd say they're about the same. Then again, when you're watching the videos through your fingers with your hands over your eyes, just waiting for something to pop out, it usually doesn't seem as scary, but it still is.
