@neo: Um...Marth is better. I mean, yea he's kind of a prissy and all, BUT unlike Ike who "Fights for my friends" Marth doesn't have cheesy lines. Personally, Cecile > Marth > Ike.
@Airmaid: I wasn't angry when I had to kill someone off in the prologue. The green haired mage is Merric. One of my favorite characters anyways. Are you talking about Gordin or about the girl archer? But yea, they except characters to die off. It's not really meant for people who like keeping units, from what I find out. It's good that you sent Jeigan cause no one likes him anyways. Unless you're playing hard mode, then you'll like him. Other then that, Jeigan's completely useless. He's the first Marcus...well, he was the guy Marcus was originated from.

Okay, first off, isn't the translation of Marth's taunt in brawl "Everyone, look at me!" Just because it's in japanese, it doesn't make it any cooler talk2hand
Anyway, I'm one of those people who can't continue the game if someone dies. Every time I've played a Fire Emblem game, I made sure that every single unit survived--whether or not I liked them. So, purposefully killing someone off was very contradictory for me. And I'm talking about the girl archer. You can only get her if one or more units (excluding the one sent as a decoy) die off in the prologue.

I'm not talking about Brawl. In my opinion, Brawl does NOT count. I'm talking about FE1/remake and the manga. Ah. Not many people do though. O well...with the killing off people. Ok, the girl archer...doesn't she come auto in the hard mode?

I don't know. I started with normal mode, and only got a few chapters in. I'm probably gonna go get my friends action replay come August, buff up all my characters, and then beat it. Fire Emblem is way too frustratingly difficult of a game to go through all that trouble for characters with no structure or personality.

Ah yea that's a good idea. I miss the support conversations. Those were always good. I hate how Marth can't be promoted either. Personally, I think he should have a promote.

@Elemental: In Brawl he's good, if you're counting that. Ike is slow in Brawl, but he's a beast if you know how to spam him properly. If it's Fire Emblem, he's a decent unit. Much better with the Emblem.

marth and ike are evenly matched... marth has more speed. ike has more power. there power is in your hand you fight and then you will know whos better. (word of advice stay offline.

Marth, you can beat strength by speed, Marth's FS gives 1 hit KO yeah it maybe easy to dodge be its still 1 KO even at 0 damage, Ike's special can't kill you at 0 damage only at 40 damage and above, and yeah Ike's Final Smash is very easy to dodge than Marth's Final Smash, because of the slow motion part of his special it's hard to side-step at the right time, I can even stop Ike's Final smash by just doing Marth's Counter Attack, Marth's counter attack is also faster than Ike's,
Marth is also better in attacking in the air Ike isn't, Ike is just strength, Marth is all-purpose, and Marth is faster in running and attacking than Ike.

you kidding I've survived it several times, all it takes is a well placed wall or two ruin any powerful final smash.

more so it might screw him over if he uses it in the air.

one time i was on final destination and i was marth and my friend hat pitt. and i final smashed him and pit down b'd and he blocked my final smash
