Towns joining session failed

This message keeps popping up every time I try to join towns :/
It was fine earlier today. It seems to be loading fine but then the message pops up.

Same message for me. I can go through a few screens and then it pops up. Using Firefox.

It's so annoying, when you wait ages for the right time of day/night, only to have it constantly fail to load...then have to wait another hour or something and hope it doesn't mess up again. gonk

It isn't the site that's doing it, this error is USER BASED. There are people out there who are deliberately lagbombing towns using various clients in order to keep us from actually going on. This is not your or gaia's fault.

Now I'm not going to go and point fingers but I will let you know that I DO know some of the people who are doing this and I can very likely guarantee that Gaia is working on the issue RIGHT NOW to ban these imbeciles.

I was having problems with towns yesterday and today. Along with the error message in the first post, loading would stop loading. I know they have a dev alert, but I'm still having this problem.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon. As mentioned before, this is not an internal problem for Gaia. The source is in its users, and therefore could take longer to fix. Hopefully towns will be back up and running normally soon.
