Can't use tools on saved puzzles+no gold grants

Windows 7, Adobe 11.1.102.55, Internet Explorer

When I save a puzzle, it can be accessed, but if i try to save or use the shuffle tool, the whole thing freezes and eventually disconnects from the server. This also occurs when I try to finish a saved puzzle. None of this affects a puzzle that has just been started rather than resumed.
