Aquarium Fish keep dying

So, I finally got up the nerve to put several expensive cash shop fish (Enki, mermaids, wells etc.) into my aquarium in an attemtp to earn gold. (Which has not been working by the way. My aqaurium has never granted gold despite its contents.) And I put all the fish in, and they look fine. I save it and try to feed them, or just save them and immediately they ALL go belly up and die. EVERYTIME. I don't know whats going on. I've never had this happen before. They return the fish or at least most of them to my inventory. But what good is that? I can't equip them to the aquarium. Is this a normal glitch? Should I just sell them and forget it? Please, help.

Well at the moment you are at the max amount of fish. Try taking out some fish if you want to add different ones.
