Welcome!

This thread is for YOU, the quester! This is where we help people questing for inks get the inks they need for a lower price than normal! How do we do it? Simple- we're whores! No, not like that, we're [mostly] vend whores--people that search the marketplace for good deals on inks and bugs. We take the inks and sell them back to you, the questers, at discounted prices.

The Way Things Work

Say you're questing for inks. You pop in this thread, tell us how many inks you want, how much gold you want to spend per ink, and we'll discuss the price with you, along with how often you want us to send trades. All trades will be sent through Ink Quest Help, so that our count of your inks is always current. After we finish talking, your name will be added to the working list, someone will be assigned to you, and we will send you a trade! You only pay for the inks in the trade, no tricks, no gimmicks.

[Ink Quest Help]

1. READ THE WHOLE FIRST PAGE! (Especially the beginning of the third post...hint, hint. >>;; ) We hate having to repeat things over and over again just because the person didn't read the first page...so do it!!
2. Obey the ToS
3. Fill out the order form located in the third post to place an order for ink.
4. Do NOT place an order just so you can take our inks and jack up the prices just and sell them back to people. This is Ink Quest Help, we help people with their body dye or collection quests. If we see you do this, you get a one way ticket to never being sold to again.
5. If you wish to sell your inks, please refer to the 6th post for our buying prices. These prices are pretty much set.
6. If you place an order for over 500 inks, we will process your order in groups of 500 to let others on the waitlist have a chance to have inks sent to them.
7. Be kind to other people, aka don't be a b***h.
8. I curse. You curse. He/she/it curses. Deal with it, but keep it tasteful, folks.
9. Don't piss any of us off. We will cut you.
10. We can add rules as we see fit.

We try to get through orders as quickly as possible because we don't like to make our customers wait, but sometimes we do get many orders for a certain color ink at a time. Each person working in this thread has the right to accept any or none of these payment methods. Anyone not wishing to pay in gold must discuss their preferable payment method with the mule [Ink Quest Help] and the person taking care of their order.


Payment may be made several ways. You may:

pay the amount in gold.
pay the amount in tickets [1/2 the amount of gold ie 500g=250 tickets]
pay the amount in other inks
pay the amount in flowers/trash [Valued at .2g each]

Or you may mix and match any of these options!

[Ink Quest Help]

There is a two-week probation period for people that want to become staff. This means you have to be active in the thread for at least two weeks before you receive staff pay. You do not have to sell to us in that time, you just have to post and hang out in here.

All staff gets 100% of the profits. Example: instead of having to sell us red inks at 75g each, you get paid 90g each.

I started this thread forever ago, after I decided to quit my quest for one million inks of each color. Keep in mind, this was before the body dyes came out, so it wasn't very expensive, but it also wasn't very challenging.

When the body dyes and tattoos came out, people started questing for the inks to get their body dyes. I remembered how difficult it was for me to get a hold of inks before the body dyes came out, and I couldn't help but feel that there had to be a less painful way to get a body dye than just creating a buying thread and hoping that someone would drop by and sell inks.

That's when I decided to start this thread. I am a marketplace whore. I lurk in there and find items sold below the average or lowest buy price, and buy them. It's kinda like buying items wholesale. I then sell them to questers for slightly less than what is usually charged, which allows questers to know that they have a steady supply of inks coming their way, and don't have to worry if some of their suppliers dry up or decide to stop selling to them.

Whether you coordinate an avvie with red on top and violet on the bottom or if you just create an avvie that looks like Skittles threw up on you, we don't care! Just make sure it's the most colorful avvie we've ever seen.

Earth, Wind, Fire, Water! Is it time for Captain Planet? No! It's time for Element Day! So do everything in your power to make your avatar embody a certain element. You can even try your hand at the element known as Idea or Aether, which is anything that fills the region of the Universe above the terrestrial sphere, such as ideas or thought or as Captain Planet says, Love. None of those elements interest you? You can even do Lightness or Darkness! Just one rule: you cannot use Elemental Hair or Wings. Yep, we're making you work, but besides that, anything is game, so get your element on and feel all philosophical. ;]

Ahh, a classic example of this or that. Get ready for some serious swashbucklin' in this here thread! Which one will you side with? Side with the buccanneers by wearing hooks, eye patches, parrots, peg legs, and anything else worthy of the high seas, ye scurvy dog! Animal day
[Thursday, the 23rd]
Ever had any pet items just sitting in your inventory that you had trouble incorporating in an outfit? Well, now's the time to pull 'em out! Kikis, Cocos, Gwees, even the Picolit and Rosso birds, whatever the animals may be, we wanna seem them! Pile them around your avvie if you'd like, or even choose just one and dress your avvie up like that animal! Just remember to bring out your inner feralness. ;D

Let Someone Else Dress You day
[Friday, the 24th]
This day is fairly self explanatory. Just get someone other than yourself to make you an avvie! Maybe your brother or sister, a friend, or even set up a tektek using your inventory and let someone else on Gaia make one for you! The only rule is that once it has been made for you, you cannot make any changes to the outfit! Yep, go all day in someone else's creation! You never know, you might get some ideas from the avvie made for you. Don't have anyone to dress you? Just post in Ink Quest Help and any of us here will be glad to help!

Tattoo day

Our final day, we're celebrating our thread Ink Quest Help and all of the wonderful people here in this thread! So what else can we do with ink but wear tattoos? You can have just one or two here and there or even cover your whole body with 'em! And of course, body dyes are a-okay too! Just have a tattoo somewhere visibly on your body and you'll be golden (but of course, the more the better ;D). Make sure you stop in Ink Quest Help where we're always willing to stir up a chat!
