I'm not really elbowing my way into making gold, I was asking to chart the waters, tickets are how I made my very first 1-2 million, and I remember it being slow, but I saw you were aiming for 2 million tickets and that's already a profitable amount of tickets. If you had been able to collect more tickets in a shorter time, I would've considered it but first I would've asked you if we can make some kind of a deal, work together or something. I'm not in the habit of just going and stealing someone else's business, I guess that's why I'm not one of the super rich Gaians. I do want to make gold but not at the expense of making enemies or ruining anyone else's chances at making gold.
I made most of my money originally by fishing, but the casino wasnt out back then. And then front exchanging.
Some kind of deal? I dont see any deal that would be profitable to me, unles it was pooling resources for buying power, but atm I could buy over 6m tickets at my price. So Im okay on resources.
Yeah, I dont really exchange anymore because Im not mean or heartless enough. Mainly I buy the expensive items noone can sell for cheapish prices, and then just wait for them to sell for what they should, because I dont need to make fast gold. Compared to many of my friends or people with accounts my age I would be considered poor. But I think I am okay, not poor, not rich.
Pooling resources, taking turns, whatever works. All I meant was that I ask first, talk to people, and don't just take over. If I was as ruthless as some people here, I would probably have made my first 100 million a long ago. At the moment, I don't know when I'm even going to get to 50 million, because I don't take shortcuts. At the moment I just pretty much make and sell caches (though they sell really slowly). After turning the next batch of caches into gold, I'll probably go back to exchanging. It's not really heartless to profit from your own patience after buying stuff for cheaper from people who are in a hurry to get rid of it. The people make their own choices, they don't have to accept the lowball offers, no one forces them. What's really heartless is snatching mispriced items, which luckily is going to get at least a bit harder with the new big red letters making sure you double/triple check the price before committing.
By the way, those big red letters in the MP listing submission confirmation screen are compliments of yours truly, from a few ATAs ago. If I was in the business of making gold the ruthless way possible, I doubt I would've been the person to make sure that the snatching of mispriced items is cultivated out of Gaia. smile
Sorry for the huge text about... myself, apparently XD I won't fill your thread anymore, and I'll delete my posts if you wish me to. ^^; Good luck on your ticket collection!
