I was wondering with all the new changes in games and everything.. is their possibly going to be an update to Gaia Fishing?
(it's been the same for almost, since it came out and the only semi decent update was the cache to weed out the bots(much thanks for that)


.. but i was wondering about new fish, and items to make from the fish, possibly even lakes
Or that nasty glitch we have with newer items ... where they don't show up, you end up blind(with out eyes)/and or bald, is their something in the works for that?

I've been a member of Gaia since I signed up back in 2005. I have been here for many of the changes to the website (some good, mostly bad) and the one thing I never understood was the change of the layout? I remember the site's old layout being quaint and unique. Then about a year later, there was the huge layout change to this bright white mess. The layout changed many more times, becoming even more and more confusing to users. I think changing it again, will only serve to frustrate gaians further. Not to mention, shortly after the layout change, glitches and bugs came crawling out of the woodworks and now plauge our games. Even the new profile layout has become more of a hassle then it's old copy+paste days. My question is, why, if you know, has the layout changed so much? I don't recall there ever being problems with it in the past, so I would like to know why there was this big change? What ever happened to the saying, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it?" Also, it seems that the biggest concern on Gaia right now is evolving and ushering in new EIs rather than fixing site glitches. Why is that?


I realize that this will no doubtedly be brushed aside as an angry rant but I am only a concerned gaian trying to reach out to the people that run my beloved site.

what about giving genders to fish in the aquarium an allowing the same kind of fish to breed if there different gender??
because fish are expensive and if someone was to save up for a whole 2 months to buy a fish that ends up dying in 4 weeks or so, only leaving behind a drop that's worth about a quarter of the fish itself then all that would go to waste.
i would love for fish to be able to breed....that would be cool.
